Unbreakable formations mod ( Shield wall, Spear wall, Testudo, etc.) - Soft version

What it does

In vanilla ATW, most units break their formation (like shield wall, spear wall, testudo) almost instantly even against infantries.

This mod ensures units stay in formation when engaging infantries. (Cavalries can still break their formation)

How it works
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
In ATW units with missile weapon and ammos, and thus possessing fire-at-will command never break their formations.
This is unlike most of any other infantries that can assume formations but do not possess missile weapons.

Goal of this mod is to make this happen to every infantry with formations ability and now those infantries are equipped with "dummy" missile weapons and ammos.

Dummy ammunition is not spendable and its purpose is to stay in units inventory and make sure fire-at-will command is always enabled (thus keeping units in formation).

Versions

Considering there are many infantries that already have their own missile weapons, the mod comes in two versions.

This version allows units that already had missile weapons to retain them.
Keep in mind that once these units use up all their ammunition, fire-at-will command will automatically disappear and they won't be able to stay in formation like other units with dummy weapons do!
For those units, you may want to toggle off fire-at-will command when they really don't need to fire projectiles.
Units will stay in formation as long as they possess fire-at-will command and whether it's toggled on or off does not matter.

The other version replaces original missile weapons with dummies to ensure mod serves its purpose in every situation with every infantry.
Costs of units whose missile weapon is removed are adjusted accordingly.
