Whiplash - A bigger place Exp. Ind.

Description
This Map was originally made by Silky Rough for TPF1. DBK-Rubinsky and I converted it to TPF2

Importent Mod by Loken needed or most of the Forests will be gray Blocks

I did the conversion from TPF1 to TPF2 and DBK-Rubinsky re added the City's, Trees, Textures and did the Industry. Its not a Perfect conversion as we did some personal changes to the Map most notably by the industry.

WHIPLASH - Fictional, complex, spectacular scenery and BIG - 45km x 12km @ 553 km2

"Why is it called 'Whiplash' Grandpa?"
"Because son, there's so much to see in this place you're guaranteed to get a sore neck."

One other thing this map sets out to be is a money sink, something sadly needed in late games. There's no sitting on $1b for long here. Some cities and industries can only be reached by serious bridging and just one town bridge example, Wishbone to Sawtooth, is close to $1b to bridge it flat to flat. You can try anything from lengthy and winding mountain valleys or multi-kilometre long tunnels to make up the transit options, even shipping (I even tested all port access). Shipping options are many and in some cases, might be mandatory, at least, until you can build $1b bridges :)

This map has it all. It's long play, it's hard play, but it's fair play. "It can be got.". If engineering can't do it, lots and lots of money will. Even some of the city and town names are intriguing and I bet you'll spend a minute or two working out why they are called what they are.

oh and If you want the same/similar look like in the Pics I recommend the Natural Environment Professional 2

I'm not sure if you maintain this anymore, but I am unable to get the map to load. I have installed the mod by Loken but it shows up as a seperate mod. Map is unable to load without it. Perhaps a version conflict? Loken Mod [www.transportfever.net]

I'm trying to make use of that info now, but... Well, I'll get back to you if anything develops. I'm easily confused by computer stuff.

I've never installed a non-workshop TPF2 mod before, so I have no idea what to do. Would anyone be willing to explain how it works, or know of a good guide they can link me?

I usually build an industrial district on one side of the city, while the passanger stations (large train station and one large bus station) other side of the city. The Airport usually a bit away beside the city. I try to organize trian to use 1 track line where other lines merging into.
