finally something i needed

i cant find the tab key can u make a tutorial on how to find it

I followed this guide to the letter but I'm still unclear as to what the "Tab" button is supposed to do because the character didn't open the Pip-Boy but rather just moved his arm in front of the screen so me, the player can see the Pip-Boy screen but I'm struggling to get it to "open." Maybe there is another key combination or something because my keyboard isn't set to "English - United States" or maybe my graphics drivers are old but I'm yet to hear from Nvidia if they're aware of this issue maybe from other players
