Description
----------------------UPDATE 5 September 2021---------------------------------
5 September I made a serious update of the map, fixing the tiny bugs and glitches, also I managed to let this ghost road disappear.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Spring Fjords is a fantasy map, not based on a real life location and is fully hand-draw, with no terrain party.
I tried to make a kind of Norwegian looking map with fjords, lot of water snow pine trees and grass

This map looks complicated and heavy but I made it as light as possible and still having special detailed areas
As you can see on the pictures the Theme is the star of the map
It's half covered in snow and half in grass and plenty of rivers, lakes and ocean. Typical spring map from a country of let say Norway

You do NOT need snowfall DLC as the snow in this map use the beach textures that is changed into snow instead of sand.
You can paint the whole map in snow, edit or delete it also, this is up to your own choices

__________________IMPORTANT______________
Some parts of the map can flood when you load it for the first time, also some rivers or lake need some time to get going. I suggest that when you load the map you wait 5 till 10 minutes till everything is settled down.

4 Road connections.
4 ships connections
2 train connections
4 Air routes

245k trees means under the 250K limit in case you don't use the unlimited tree mod

You can build a huge city around the start square but also villages and if you go up into the mountains there are several large plateaus where you easily can build a small town, villages or industry

Please like rate subscribe, comment, so my map get more attention to other players as there are so many maps available for Cities skylines

The highways, bridges and train tracks are vanilla, no mods, assets or DLC needed to let them load. Of course, you always can upgrade them or change with workshop infrastructures.
You also will notice a highway that end near the border of the map, this is because I can only have 4 out connections without mod. If you add unlimited outside connection you can expand this highway, but this mod doesn't work anymore in the editor map, and I didn't want to break off this highway.

Have fun with the map, be creative and you are always free to show your map once you build a city with links into the comments.

As nothing is perfect, if you see an issue or problem please let me know, I will try to fix it

*******IMPORTANT *******
_______One click collection MUST have to let the map load properly _________

hi, what settings do you recommend for Ultimate Eye Candy and LUT?

FYI (if you wish): Came here from BonBonB's review (and therefore from BonBonB's Maps of the month) and I love your attitude in the Youtube comments.

Investing so much work and time to give a map to people like me is one thing (and I can't imagine). But to then deal with any criticism, however fair or unfair, in a friendly and constructive way is another thing altogether.

I couldn't "like" your map because I like it, but it's not for me and that's why I didn't subscribe to it. But I did find out on the occasion what you can do with those wacky Steam Points and "Good for the soul" Award seemed fitting. Thank you for your work. I'm looking forward to your next maps.

Elysdon: I followed your guiding and i also found that glitch on the road, so now the ghost road is gone. I updated the entire map, fixing What was discussed in Bon Bons video also.
So a big thank you for helping.
Check my new map, it came out today https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2594115124 The unknown marshlands

ckrock04, you need Patagonia theme. You can get it with the one-click collection in the description along with all the other nice-to-haves.

Hi, why am I getting the sand instead of the snow?
Elysdon 25 Aug, 2021 @ 2:53am
So I think I worked out a solution to the phantom piece of road (glitch) that was in the BonBonB review. As Ozzad alluded to in the "aesthetic bug" discussion, there is a hidden/glitch long piece of road that goes all the way up the mountain. To delete it I used the 81tiles mod, zoom all the way out, and try and select the hidden straight road up the mountain. Where BonBonB tried to use Move It mod at the base of the mountain you can't select it, but if you go midway up the mountain you can select the straight, hidden, glitchy road. Once you delete that using Move It the glitch ceases. Coupled with BonBonB's suggestion of letting the map run a bit before saving it to avoid the initial flood would make this map almost perfect.

By the way, what settings were your Eye Candy/LUT etc for your screenshots?

Cheers :)

Elysdon yes of course. I will fix the minor detailing very soon tomorrow or Monday
13 stars on Bon Bon map review is an exceptionally highs score.

Hi,
Thanks for the amazing map, scoring very highly on BonBonB's review. Will there be an updated version to iron our the minor detailing issues outlined in that review?

Thanks.
