Yes, it's sad how the marketing tried to cash in on the name, but that's what made it so bad. Sonic the Portable would've been seen as a fine game, since you wouldn't have expected the sequel to Sonic 3&K, where the expectations are obviously high.

honestly, if sonic 4 was just called sonic mobile, than it would've made it 10 million times better
