(SKC Edit Version) bk3k's Side Action Bar - 10 bar size

Description
▶ Requires a new character. However characters with the original version of the mod should still work with this version.

The original version does not need to be installed for this to work.

This is an edit of the original 10 bar size side action bar mod by bk3k . This edit repositions the essential items to the middle to make scrolling follow the correct order. Also fixes some minor alignment issues from the original. Hotkeys for slots 7-10 still don't work (hardcoded).

In the original version, I was annoyed by how scrolling didn't respond correctly to where the slots were. The scrolling order couldn't be changed because of hardcoded limitations by the game. So I solved it by just moving the essential items to the middle.

Only the 10 bar version for now because I don't use the vanilla sized one. Might make one for the vanilla one if there is enough demand for it.

Continuing...

I did this because I wanted this mod for the Steam Deck and a different 10 slot that goes to the vanilla top for my 2k monitor. BUT, I never ended up just trying this mod to different 10 slot to see if it would work or not. I have a feeling it may not, but I'm not risking this again, so who knows.

Just an FYI, not sure about Windows, but could be the same (I'm on Linux): In your /storage/player folder you will have three .bak1-3 files for backups. If you created a character with a modified Action Bar, obviously you need to create a new character to see it, but if you delete the mod, log back into your character, it will go back to Vanilla-style Action bar. If you quit and re-install the same mod, your character will be gone. Folks say to start a new character when adding more Action slots which is true, but it seems if you delete the mod, it'll save your character back to Vanilla, so even if you download the same mod, your character will still be gone.

To fix this, use one of the .bak files, I used #2 because I think #3 is the same as the current character. Delete the .player one, and re-name the #2 to .player. Then go back into the gave with same Action Bar mod installed and your character will show back up again.

Man I could really use that vanilla version. It's such a good fix.
