Start by right clicking Cry of Fear in your library and hitting properties





Now move over to "Local Files" and hit browse

Now head into the folder labelled "cryoffear" and look for a file named "skill.cfg"

I recommend you make a BACKUP of this file before you do this.

there's 3 main things you wanna look for:

• sk_cof_revolver
  
• sk_cof_weapon_melee
  
• sk_sawrunner_dmg_one_slash

They look like this:

These are the damage values of the Doctor's Revolver, Melee swing, and Sawrunner's melee
you can change these to whatever you want to make them do more or less damage.

You can play around with this to make it either slightly easier or a cake walk.
The important part is just beating Doctor Mode for the nightvision.

After you're done make sure to hit save and then open Cry of Fear and test if it worked.

Then just make sure to change it back after you've beaten Doctor Mode so the balance isn't totally messed up in the normal game.

Now you have a way to make Doctor Mode easier and also make it easier to obtain Nightvision.
