How to upload custom thumbnails

Description
Instructions on how to set a custom thumbnail for any vehicle
version 1.12.5

Step 1: make a .png picture the size of 256x256 (you can go larger then 256², I just wouldn't recommend it)
Step 2: put the picture in .../Kerbal Space Program/thumbs
Step 3: right click the custom picture and click on Properties near bottom
Step 4: check Read-only attribute at the bottom of general then press OK
Step 5: copy the name of the default thumbnail for the vehicle in question
Step 6: delete or move the default thumbnail
Step 7: rename the custom picture to the name you copied by pasting it
Step 8 (optional): upload to workshop

This can be done while the game is running at any point in time, even in editor.

No, you don't need to subscribe to my tutorial / vessel / guide / instructions for it to work.
It also doesn't require any mods or DLCs.

well change walmart to anything other than a hospital, i dont go to a grocery store to go see a doctor. i get what youre saying, in the proving it works, but id be willing to bet, not one person starts putting this extra effort in to make a custom thumbnail.
