CQB Raid & Defend 
is a short little warm up mission for one to twenty-two players. 50 odd AI are held up in a small, close quarters town of Tuvanaka in the north-west island of Tanoa. 
Enemy will be patrolling interiors of buildings and patrolling the town, as well as the immediate surrounding area. Snipers will take up rooftop positions so keep your head low, there is a working stealth mechanic.

Raid the town, find the side objectives, or don't. Once all Syndikat forces have been cleared from the town you will have to defend the center from incoming forces. When all is clear a VTOL will pick you up for RTB, use Radio 0-0-1 to Dustoff when all aboard.

Artillery and CAS support is available through the use of DAO and DRA tablets, but their targeting systems are being jammed by Syndikat hardware. To enable both supports you will have to disable said Syndikat hardware on the ground during the Op.

Features : 
  • Randomly populated AO with ~50 lightly armored AI. 
  • All AI units are cached, significantly improving performance, especially if playing in local host.
  • Re-spawn enabled and revive available for all players.
  • Random Time/Weather each mission start.
  • Zeus is available for admins.
  • Virtual Arsenal Crates in the Staging Areas for custom loadouts.
  • Working Stealth mechanic. Using silenced SMGs/Pistols you can engage all enemies quietly. Being visually spotted, missing a shot, or alerting nearby units will of course make the enemy engage you.
  • Godmode on demand; On the briefing table there is a laptop (see above gallery pics).
  • Change the time of day via laptop on the briefing table.
  • Artillery and CAS supports are available through the use of DRA and DAO tablets, but may be locked behind enemy hardware.
Designed for Local hosting SP or COOP, runs very light with AI in a localized area. 90+fps in local testing. Obviously runs like a dream on dedicated servers. 
How To Launch Mission Solo or LAN :
  • Go to Multiplayer
  • Server browser
  • Host Server
  • Type in server name, # of players, password
  • Choose map on left (Tanoa in this case) and the mission CQBRaidDefed on right.

Hey SpaceGoat, cheers for the feedbback!
Yeh I mean if you got the hang of how Drongos Map Pop works, you could definitely "port" these missions to other maps. You could unPBO my mission and save the setup as a composition, then just drag and drop the composition in to a different map. You'd have to make a few tweaks for each map, but it is possible.
