Desert Thunder is built off the Unreal 1 Engine - yes the one from 1999! The maximum selectable resolution is 1280x1024 (4:3). The field of view (FOV) is important for widescreen users and cannot be altered ingame.



To enable a more modern resolution and FOV you need to perform the following:

• Launch the game once to generate the system files.
  
• Navigate to the installation folder: e.g. C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Desert Thunder\System
  
• Open the file DT.ini with a text editor.
  
• Search for the lines below and adjust for your desired resolution. Save the file.

• Open the file user.ini with a text editor.
  
• Search for the lines below and adjust for your desired FOV (field of view). Save the file.
