Epilepsy Warning!
The Willwalker loading screen complete with Epilepsy warning.
Main Menu
The main menu is shown below. The exit is on the bottom left, ALT + F4 also works. Click on PLAY or NEW GAME to get started. Options shows you the controls and lets you adjust sound volume.

This is a screenshot of the very neon space-station-like main menu.

Are one of those planets in the background supposed to be Earth? I have no idea...
The Controls
The contorls for the game are located in the options section of the main menu. The controls do not appear to be alterable. The sound volumes do appear to be adjustable.

This is a screenshot of the game controls.

I have to mention, the sounds also control in game background music, which happens to be a very nice techno track.
Game Play
Let's get to the game play. Clicking PLAY gets you to a sub menu of sorts. Obviously MENU gets you back to the main menu. Looking at MAPS shows you an odd map that shows a route through the game levels.

This screenshot shows the sub menu.

This screenshot shows the MAP and the game levels.

Please notice that both the MAP and the sub Menu shows a button for the Skills Tree. This creates a bit of a weird loop where you are clicking on a lot of the same screens to figure it out. To get started, click on the first spot on the MAP (at the bottom of the page).
Countdown to Action!
The game starts a countdown, that you can skip, before it allows you to start running around and shooting random 2D avatars.

This screenshot shows the start of the countdown.

During the ten second countdown, it shows you the end of the map you are fighting through and moves slowly through the map to your start position. It kinda gives you a sneak peak at what you are fighting.

This screenshot shows some actual 2D futuristic shooting.

I should mention the first map has a lot of tutorial pop-ups, teaching you how to play the game as you progress through the level.
Another First!
At the time I published this guide, there were no other guides available on the game Willwalker.
