EMD E5 Burlington Route Twin Cities Zephyr

The Burlington Route, formally known as the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railroad, was a Class I railroad that operated in the Midwest of the United States. The company merged with Northern Pacific and Great Northern Railroad to form the Burlington Northern Railroad. This train is modeled after their EMD E5 series of locomotives.

The Twin Cities Zephyr was a named passenger train on the Burlington Route from Chicago and the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul in Minnesota. It was the second Zephyr service introduced by CB&Q after the record-setting Denver–Chicago "dawn to dusk dash" of the Pioneer Zephyr trainset.
