Though he doesn't know what's worst, both he and the Scout got captured by Blu Team or an inexperience Scout that's a clumsy wild card. It took some hours for the boy to negotiate a huge health pack to be bought to them.
"I was trying to leave some health packs for you, Doc."
The older man smiled at the thoughtful Scout. But the younger man's plan failed, all he saw was this Scout trailing behind him and the Heavy, watching their backs (Attempting to).
"Next 'ime, ya listen to me, Herr Scout."
"You sound funny, Doc."
The German bit his lower lip, he knows that sometimes others don't understand him when his German accent clashes with his developing Texan drawl and Russian accent. The compassionate Scout clearly doesn't when this occurs.
"It's mah turn to vandage you up, Herr Scout."

Unbeknownst, the Blu Spycrab, who is hiding underneath the bench, is eavesdropping and heard everything. Blu team has the aquatic creature sneak into the cell, just to spy on the odd Scout, who insisted to stay with the Medic and for a med kit.
