There's many way to Rush on Dust 2, but only one to Rush correctly.
Feel free to be creative, but this isn't fully worth.
Let see the base.

The Freeze time is one of your best asset. Is always better to use it wisely.

In MatchMaking competitive CS:GO you will have 15 seconds each start of round to think about what your team and you gonna do.
In Faceit, you will only have 11 seconds of Freeze Time.

Of course, each pause you gonna do in-game are considered too as a Freeze time.

Let see now how to use these 10 seconds in the best way possible.

It isn't new, but in cs:go is a Teamplay game, so it's obvious to have certains roles for each teammate.

But there's some specifics roles in a rush.

During the freeze time you will only have fews secondes to decide what to do, lets be brief between each others and precise. I recommand to use keys words.

We are going to imagine that there is a full team premade playing in T side, surely using a voice software to communicate between each others or in-game.

The one who called a Rush somewhere the others player need to give their roles the quickliest possible. And it's why I recommand key-word.

Teammate one : "Lets Rush B guys,"
Teammate two : "K, i'll be the fireman."

A fireman is an important role during a rush, he will have as a job to extinguish the fire with a smoke. No one expect him will do his job.

that were an example of what i call a key-word.

Now let see about spawns priorities.

Spawns are important, and in every map. The spawn you have will decide if you will be able to first pick a certain peek or if you can be a support or whatever.

In our exemple, we are going to start as a terrorist in Dust 2.


Normally, if a Rush's calling is because you have a great position and the caller do not want to waste this. As you can see on the image above, there's a great spawn to do a multiple choice, a Rush A and B is totally playable.

We are going to choose to Rush B, the classic.
As we talked about roles and the frozen time earlier plus we have a great spawn then we can think about a pure strategic, here's going to be a Rush.

The first one (the closer of B Forum on the image above), going to be the leader of the group and most of all the entry, fragger or not. He will need to open the side and to take the more space possible.

The second one (the mate behind the entry player),is going to be the trader, he will support the entry player or his trader.

The others will have different jobs, the third and maybe the fourth going to be the Firemans.

And the last one, the lurker, it's a wrong term because he will act like one, but he is going to cut the rotation. He must do not die before the bomb is plant, in case of teammates killed he will be the last alive to defend the bomb.

Let see now more in details about the stuff we should buy and use.
Before to go further, do not forget guys. This guide is oriented Teamplay so we gonna let the individual skill apart and play as a Team should be. So u must read the next section :)

EDIT : for the knowledge, on Dust 2 there's 15 possibles spawns in Terorrist and 7 in Counter-Terrorist

We are going to imagine that we are planning to rush at an important round to Rush B, let's take the 17 round.

We all have a "great economy", around 4000$.

We will use the same example seen earlier.

The 1st must buy an smg's instead of a rifle with a Kevlar/Helmet.
Do not forget, his mission is to be the entry, fragger or not. More space he succes to grab better is.
Let him take the Mac10, a great Rush weapon plus one or two GSS(Flash). An entry player should die, less stuff bought is better. It's stupid to possibly die with 5k$ in less then 8 secondes lol.

The 2nd must buy a rifle with a Kevlar/Helmet, he's a trader and a support for the entry player.
Let him take him the ak-47, the nicest rifle in this his case plus flashs and maybe a molotov if extra money.

The 3rd is free to choose between an ak-47 or an sg 553, avoid the galil for him plus a kevlar and maybe an helmet. During the Frozen time, it has been said the third player gone to were the fireman, he will put out the fire with his smoke, it's an important role to absolutely respect even if they won't use an incendiary grenade. No extra grenade for him are necessary.

Furthermore in our case, the fireman must be the third or fourth player.

The 4th player is free like the 3rd for his rifle and kevlar but he must have an helmet.
He's work on this Rush going to be relativily safe, support his teammates and to win time if the bomb is plant, he can used Molotov or Smoke to do.

The 5th and last player, will be the one the more insulted, the lurker, the baiter or whatever you want, but his job is really important and crucial.
Let him choose between an ak-47 or an sg 553 with kev/helmet. Zero grenade necessary, but in case of some extra money, a smoke or a gss always can be usefull.

Let see now about the execute the last section, after this, you will be able to rush like a pro.

Now, we are going to apply what we seen earlier and rush B like a pro.

15 seconds left to think and speak with the teammates

1st Teammate: "Lets Rush B guys, great spawn. i'll start flash and be the entry"
2nd Teammate: "I'll be ur trader, lemme the second flash"
3rd Teammate: "K, i'll be the fireman."
4th Teammate: "Nice, Imma support yall from the back
5th Teammate: "Imma cut the rota then"

Freeze time end;
Each players knows their roles, and bought their stuffs.
The 1st have the crucial role as the group leader.


Like in this image, he will need as said before, to first flash then to peek as entry player.
He will need if possible to kill one person, during this time the faster and the briefier possible to give the info.


1st Teammate: "Flash Start, I'm peeking, Box dead, one's blue and one's window".
EDIT : remember is the 17 round, one of the round know for be a Rush B round, so there's a 3b plan from the CT

2nd Teammate: "Smoke, S'cond flash, Window's dead"
Fews secondes delays since the 2nd Teammate
The entry died from the CT's blue box
3rd Teammate: "Traded, i smoke door."
4th Teammate: "Window's molly, plant fast"
2nd Teammate: "Gotcha"
5th Teammate: "I'm lower, one's comin" from ct, the other's short i got him"

In this case the CTs left should save or they will die, rush succesfulled. Only one T died, the current economy is really great. Obviously this case of 5v3 with only one dead from the T is possible, even if in this exemple all of this were make to us win aha.

This is how we must Rush.
Be fast to execute correctly,
Have a great voice communication,
Teammates capable to listen and to execute correctly.

This Rush seems easy saying like this, but this not. A perfect Rush need to be trained with if possible premade we play with often. But there's not impossible to apply this even with randoms.

We all complaining about Rushes nowadays, because there's only one of us doing something wrong. You can be creative and to Rush as you want to if it's decided before, cs:go is a game, do not forget to enjoy your game.

Know, even without all of this what you are doing wrong and on the other section and let me explain why, you aren't oblige to read the next one but it's always better to admit our fault, you like me are not perfect :)

First of all forget about the rank or the level you currently are.
The one thing you want is to perfom yourself.

A silver can have a better smart game than a master guardian even if it's wrong used.


What you doing wrong and what you do not like see your teammate during a Rush:

• Dying with so much money wasted as an entry
  
• So much distance between each players can affect a Rush
  
• A solo entry
  
• Zero Trade
  
• Taking long to stuff
  
• Bait, no one want to push
  
• Fire which make the whole team slow down

As I said before, you free to Rush with ideas, even if it's not perfect, do not forget about the fact, A rush is like a bet. If you wan't to increase your chance than make somes efforts.

1) Do not die with a ton of stuffs as an entry, you must think that you will die quickly. The economy is important in cs:go. Plus, certain weapon are obviously better for certain situation.

2) Do not rush when there's a big placement difference between you and you allies; it will make hard to support each others.

3) You are not RPK or Any others entry pro player, do not entry alone because you will just die and let you team in a 4v5. It's stupid, life's great, do not end yourself like that :)

4) You must trade you Teammate if he's dying instead of searching a 1v1, focus yourself.

5) Do not take so long to use your stuff as a fireman or at second flasher. More time you will wait, more the chance to succesfull increase down, same if you let you friend dying. You will be fully free insulted.

6) You called a Rush, they know with the sound about it. If there's a molly, if the fireman failed his task then Rush trough the Fire. It's even better to die Quickly as a failed Rush then to make some stranges rotations, ennemies gonna laugh to you and you will all get mad.

EDIT : It's for sure kinda different to rush in function of where you want to go and the map.
