Normandy SR2 (Mass Effect 2) 1:1 Scale, Driveable

Description
I always thought that this was one of the coolest looking starships in the sci-fi genre and I decided that it was crying out for a full space engineers treatment on a 1:1 scale with a full interior and loads of features so finally, here it is! I decided that I preferred the Mass Effect 2 layout because it makes slightly more geometrical sense (no rooms extending beyond the hull).

LAST UPDATED 30/08/2014: see change notes and description for details.

Mods: Auto loaded by SE steam integration when level is started. For full mod list, see the world settings 'mods' tab.

--Features--

Full Interior:
All of the accessible rooms from mass effect 2 are included as well as the hangar bay complete with 2 Kodiak shuttles and a functional opening bulkhead (now improved). Currently there is only an empty elavator shaft as I cannot seem to fit a piston mechanism in the space but there are stairwells which join all decks from the rear of the ship. Due to geometrical inconsistencies, the corridor between the combat information centre and the cockpit is much longer than in the game so a shortcut to the main battery room on deck 3 has been added as well as a cluster of escape pods. The doors are colour coded: Grey = interior, Black = airlock, Yellow = stairwell, Red = maintenance. Red doors lead to the space between the outer hull and interior where most of the functional ‘stuff’ is hidden. Passenger seats and furniture mods have now been added.

Gravity Propulsion Drive:
This ship is just too heavy to accelerate at an acceptable rate using conventional thrusters without inducing thruster damage. In addition to thruster damage compatible concealed thrusters, a gravity propulsion drive has been added. To activate, just turn on the gravity drive ‘Mass Activation’ and ‘Gravity Control’ groups from the toolbar with '2', '3' and '4' and press forward or switch off inertial dampeners.

Connected Systems:
All reactors, refineries, assemblers, storage crates and weapons are linked via one massive conveyor system so items can be automatically transferred to where they are needed. Also, all important groups of items are grouped in the ship control panel. Airlocks, primary interior doors, maintenance doors, primary interior lighting, primary gravity and interior turrets are all separately grouped for easy adjusting. The locking landing gears for the hangar landing pads and escape pod holders are also grouped for easy access. The hangar bulkhead also has its own group and can be opened and closed by just pressing ‘reverse’.

Improved Combat Information Centre:
The CIC on deck 2 now has a rotating galaxy map and a scaled down lit 'hologram' of the Normandy. This is attached with connectors and landing gear and is crash resistant.

(No) Elavator:
Removed due to performance issues. There is not enough space for conventional pistons so I am hoping a solution will arise in the form of a mod or an update. Suggestions are welcome.

Escape Pods:
To use, just press the illuminated button on the red panel to unlock them (do not forget to do this before getting in). Then enter an escape pod, press Y to turn on the reactors and P to release the landing gear and then just hold forward to escape the ship. A ‘Rescue Signal’ group can be activated from the control panel which turns on an SOS beacon and 5 red spotlights. These can now withstand all G forces that the ship can pull (usually) even in some crashes.

Other Stuff:
There are 6 airlocks; 2 near the rear which link to the stairwell, 1 above each ‘wing’ which link to the hangar and 2 near the cockpit which are in Mass Effect 2. The missile launchers are meant to replicate the plasma cannons on the actual ship. Don’t fire while turning or else missiles may hit the ship. Also, there is another 3rd person cockpit in the EDI core room on deck 3 which gives a better view of the ship while piloting. The EDI core room also has all of the ship's systems linked to button panels such as lights and gravity.

Mod that is saying it's not downloaded is a random number sequence. The sequence is 308301094

there's a problem in loading the world, where a mod doen't load and it's name is just a sequence of numbers.

Yes, I just built myself a new PC so I loaded this up to add all the new features and yes, it IS corrupted, BUT there is a fix. Just Google the SE toolbox, download it. Then, in Space Engineers transfer this word from the workshop to your game and create an additional new world. Open this world in SE toolbox, export all the large and small ships somewhere convenient. Then open the new world in SE toolbox and import them. Now you can load up the new world in Space Engineers and the ship will be right in front of you. I would update this but I have been to distracted with other stuff...
