Most of what you can explore in this game, you will back there and using it. It's the type of game where you can ignore everything possible and you don't feel like you really missed out.

Everything below is done as simple as it can be, but I've done my best to describe the way most people would do the puzzle blind just in case you want some bonus chat

Day 1
FBI New York branch, Downtown
Talk to the boss
Leave the room
Head to our desk (bottom one)
Use your keyboard
Get Nick's number from the corkboard above
Use your phone to call him
Talk to Ruth and she will send it to your desk
Try to call him again

Wait for the reply, then click the keyboard + monitor
Enter the Mezzanine on the left
Pick up the Printer Paper on the boxes below
Head back to office and use it on printer
Give this report to the boss and talk to him
Exit the building and enter the black car

Enter and talk to the porter
In the next room examine the knives behind Warren
Head to the mummy at the back off the room for Fire Extinguisher
Talk to the porter
When you get the number call it
Talk to porter again, then go downstairs
The lights are off so you can talk to the porter if you want, but he cant help

We will need to fix the lights ourselves. This is a random puzzle to get all 5 lights on. She will not move in the dark so it can be quite a pain to get them all on but you do need the 2 left lights on for items. After that you either need all 3 right or get the left and the top 2 right lights.

Pick up the Flight Case on the left shelves - open for X-Ray scanner
Just above this pick up the blue Dinghy
Head to the back of the room
Use your scanner on the crate
It's hard to see but there's a gap between that crate and the ones behind (hint will show it)
Use the dinghy and extinguisher
Use the scanner on the new crate
Before we leave replace the scanner and case
Talk to the porter

Stockbroker's Villa
Talk to the officer
Examine the table and move the chair
Back out, pick up the Business Card which was under the chair
Look at the card in your inventory for a number
Go left to the Annex and pick up the Umbrella - use for Umbrella Wire
Back to the previous room, head right to the pool area
Click on the table and take the Pool Ball
Use the ball on the pockets - they are random
Once you hit something use the wire
Pick up Figurine Head
Leave this place to finish the day
Day 2
FBI New York branch, Downtown
Head to Ruth and take the Key Card
Talk to the boss
Pick up an Origami from your desk - use for Map
Back downstairs use key card on evidence room
There's an empty space in the middle for the figurine head
Call up Branford then Warren

Talk to Warren
Enter the Orangery on the right and talk to Branford
Back a room look at the golden figures
Ask Warren to borrow them

Talk to Ruth
Get the Blank Form in the top storage room (right side front)
Give this form to Ruth then talk to the boss
Pick up the Completed Form from Ruth

Give the form to Warren
Talk to the porter then get the Headless Figurine
Just like with the lights, you can talk to the porter but he's useless
We now have another random puzzle
Go to the Orangery, at the bottom of the room pick up Soil and Vase
Add the soil to the vase and pick up more soil

You will need to place this vase on the empty figurine spot, add soil and swap the vases until the light turns green. Soil can be added twice which is why I suggested adding and picking up more to save a tiny bit of extra time

Abandoned house
Enter the building and head left
Go to left room first
In the toilets pick up the Plug off the floor
In the bedroom pick up Wire Brush - use for Bristles
Go to the right room now
Take the Whisky from the fridge
Now head to the right side of the building
Enter the apartment to find Joel
Talk to him, you can hand over the whisky but its not fancy enough
Pick up Empty Bottle under the table
Head to the kitchen
Use plug then empty bottle in sink - use the tap
Pick up Whisky Label and use on the full bottle
Give this bottle to Joel for Origami Bird
Use this new origami for a number
Try to leave the room
Pick up the Fuse where Joel was sitting

Head outside this apartment for a fuse box
Combine the bristles with the fuse
Use it on the box and take it back
Head back to the kitchen and look at the smoky counter
Use the origami paper to remove the cord
Combine the bristles and fuse again
Place it back into the fuse
Head upstairs now
There is a hole in the floor - use brush
Pick up the Phone and brush

Enter the evidence room
Place the figurine on the shelves
Underneath are boxes to look at
On the left is a Tailor box with Scissors
On the right is James box with James's ID
Leave this room and head upstairs
Use the ladder to reach the cables - use scissors - move it back
Enter the Laboratory (right door) for Clean Swab next to the door

Talk to Ruth to learn about the missing head
Head to the storage room for a bunch of items
On the left shelves pick up Lamp, Battery and Plastic Bags
On the right shelves pick up Gloves and Luminol
Head over to your desk and use cables, phone and battery
You will need a pin code, you can talk to Ruth to learn his birthday if you want but its not the code
Use swab on the id to get the pin code - 8673
Use the phone to send over a picture
Look at your monitor to see the picture

Thugs's hideout
Go up to the alley
Take the Crowbar from under the cars wheel
Use the handbrake to move the car
Use the crowbar on the ladder
Click on the window to listen in on the thugs
Use the crowbar on the air conditioning
Enter the room and move to the boxes closest to the door
Use your camera and call the number you see - its random and upside down
If you got it right the thugs will leave
Enter this room and go to the wardrobe for a secret room
Open up the 2nd draw to find the knife

We will be tied up with a timed puzzle. Luckily its not random this time so you just need to follow the path that won't creak.

Head back to the knife - use luminol, lamp and gloves
Click on the carpet corner nearest to the door
Try to open the trap door
Click on the 2nd picture for the lever
We can now enter the trap door

Pick up Can on the bottom right corner
Open it for a Coin
On the left shelves is a keybox
Use your coin on it and take a key
These keys are in a random order but all 4 attempts used the same one so I don't believe the actual ones used are random





Use a key to open the door
Use the coin to open the panel above the lever
Use another key on this broken ratchet
Take the Gun before fleeing the scene
Day 3
FBI New York branch, Downtown
Talk to the boss
Head to the laboratory
Pick up the Blood Test Results next to the swabs
Head to the analyzer at the back of the room
Get a Vial
Use a swab on the knife, then put it in the vial
Place the vial in the analyzer then click the screen so its sent to our computer
At our desk compare the test results to the one on the pc

Talk to the boss again
Head to the evidence room to get the figurine pieces
Combine them for a Bag
Take James's Key from his Box
Back to laboratory for the analyzer machine
Get another vial
Use the swab with the powder then vial
We need the green machine this time to find out what it is
Once done head to our desk
Use the keyboard to examine another photo

It's possible to skip over the porter talk but you will miss items if you don't let it do its job
Head on through to the Archives on the left
Pick up Laboratory Magnifying Glass on the table and Foil on the back wall
In the main room, go to the mummy and get the Bowl from the wall
Now head to the Orangery and the statue closest to the screen
Place the bowl, foil and magnifying glass on the base of this statue
We can now enter the storage room and towards the back wall
Examine the poster and use your key
Use another swab on the scales

Subway
Go to the left of the police car
Get the hanging Wire from a Doorbell
Now to the right of the car
To the right of the door is a Coke Bottle
Enter the subway and talk to the officer
Look closer at the benches for a Gas Lighter
Go down a screen for a Gas Can and Newspaper
There's a grid on the back wall to examine
Use your coke to unscrew the panel
Fill up the lighter with the gas can
Place the newspaper on the bottle then light it up
We can now pick up the Champagne Bottle with a Rolled-Up Diploma Inside
Use the wire on the bottle and unroll the paper
Day 4
FBI New York branch, Downtown
You know the drill, go get your swab tested
Now talk to Rut

Library
Go straight down to enter the library
At the bottom of the screen, pick up the Glasses
Talk to the librarian
May as well give her the glasses now
Get the book from the shelves - left of door, middle red books
Give the book to the librarian and talk to her
Leave this room and enter the door next to us
Examine the draws and head back to the librarian
Examine the draws again but we don't have the right number. At this point you can either go back and forth a couple of times or just open the right draw without bothering the learn the code 4th down, 1st row on left

Whatever way you choose, we get the Boxed microfilm in the end
Back to the librarian for another chat
To the right of the door is the microfilm reader
Take the left reel and combine with microfilm
Click the screen to learn we need a lens
If you handed the glasses over you can get the Focal Lens now, otherwise hand it over
Place it in the machine and learn about our victims - List of Expedition Members
Before we leave talk to the librarian one last time

Head to Archives and give the member list to Warren
Outside we can talk to Branford
Back to Warren for the remaining chat
Go to the Orangery to get the Photo by the soil

Talk to Ruth then the boss
Talk to Ruth one last time
Day 5
Cusco, Peru
Talk to Diego
Take Camera from the clocket
On the right table take Both leaves - combine them
Leave the hotel and head right for San Martin Plaza
Try to enter the house but return to Diego
Leave the place and use the ATM
Head down for Car workshop

Talk to Jose and return to Diego
Talk to Jose again and enter the garage
Pick up the Tripod and the Bearing near the door
Combine the camera and tripod, then place near broken wall
Talk to Jose again
Combine the money and bearing, place on bench
Pick up your camera and return to Diego

Go back to Alvarado's house
Use the photo on the door gap and talk
Give the leaves to the guy on the bench
Talk to the door again
Enter the house and head to the room on the right
Talk to Alvarado
Day 6
Cusco, Peru
Head to Diego - Sandwich
Now back to Alvarado
Take the Knife from the fireplace and use it on the slot
Take the Crystals and Map
Leave and go up for the courtyard
The puzzle is pretty simple you need to pick up the pots to make a ladder, as its in size order its pretty easy to tell what is what
you need to move the 2nd pot on the 2nd row out of the way, place it on one of the empty spots on the top. Now going right pick up the 3 bottom pots and place near the wall. Take the original top row pot then finally the last bottom row pot

Talk to Jose and head to the ATM
Talk to Jose again
Instead of entering the hotel, enter the kitchen on the left
Pick up Matches on bottom
Go up to the fireplace
Get Honey and Strawberries from the shelves
Take the Jug from the stove and use on the big one next to it
Light up the stove and place the jug on it - use honey and strawberries
Under the window is a switch, use it
You can now get the camera
Give the camera to Jose - Gas Can
Use this gas can on the Jeep
Day 8
Somewhere in the Andes
Head across the bridge
Pick up the Tube
Back across the bridge, go left to the Jeep
Take the Chair
Use tube on the crate - Pulley and Jack
Back to the bridge try to cross
Take the Rope - combine with pulley and chair
Use this new item on the rope above
Cut away the vines with your knife
Use the jack on the tunnel

Akakor
For some puzzle info look at symbols above door
Go to the main square
The sun pyramid below we can ignore but it has more symbols
Small pyramid above has our last symbols
Inside pick up Cap next to the tomb
The main pyramid is to the right
Look in the hole for the puzzle. You need to match the symbols to the colour and shape. So for example whatever symbol was red, you need to place the square crystal in what its symbol was
Order of symbols are, red, blue and yellow
Place the last crystal into the door

Take the Sword next to us
Head into the left doorway - look at the picture next to the door for some history
Pick up Jar Without a Cap on the bottom left corner
Go back to the previous room
Use the sandwich on flies then the jar
Examine the skeletons
Use the jar on the spider, then pick up funnel
Use the funnel to get a note
Go back to the plane and closer to the wings
Give the jar to the snake

We now need to go to the sun pyramid
Inside is some water so use your jar on it
Also head to the small pyramid
Use the sword to open the tomb - Jaw Bone and Watch
Now back to the battery to use the water
Look at the hood now and take out air filter
Click the filter to clean it and put it back
Finally click the propeller
Day 10

Talk to the librarian

Inside head left
Click on the graduation photo to find a hidden photo

Go to the archives and click the shelving
At the bottom is a box with dental records
Compare the record to the jaw
Head outside to talk to Warren

Look at the suspension letter
Look at Rache's photo - compare with letter
Talk to Mama Ruth for the last time
Enter the bosses office and examine his desk
Open the bottom left cabinet for a safe
Use the dial to change chaser into Raches
Look at the items in there

Subway
Head into the subway for the Pliers first
Now enter the building from before
Head up a floor and read the electricians note
Get the Uninsulated Wire near - combine with pliers
Go up another floor and open the green box
Use the wire on 20/7 WB
Go down 2 floors to enter the elevator

Take the Skewer from the left crate
Enter the next room and use the skewer on the barrel
Use pliers on the gas Knob
Click on the hole then enter the train
Use the knob on the brake
