Better Vanilla Gigas

Descripción
This mod aims to improve the vanilla giga's such as better stamina consumption, tamed giga's have the bleed attack and more.

-Stamina has been increased to 700.
-Stamina recovery rate has been increased.
-The health depletion rate while suffocating underwater has been slightly decreased.
-Drag weight has been adjusted so giga's can be taken into boss fights.
-All Giga's have the Gnash (bleed) attack, press C on the keybord or R3 on controller to use it.
-Giga's cannot get enraged.
-Baby giga's grow faster (about the same as a rex).
-Gnash attack now consumes 100 stamina per use.

INI Configuration
[BetterVanillaGigas]
GnashAttack=False
AllowedBossDino=False
GnashCooldown=8
PreventRage=False

GnashAttack if set to true will enable the gnash attack. (disabled by default)

AllowedBossDino setting this to true will allow the giga into boss arena's. (disabled by default)

GnashCooldown is how long in seconds before you can launch another gnash attack.

PreventRage when set to true will disable the rage on the giga after taking too much damage.

This is not a new creature so all of these changes will work on existing giga's and can be safely removed, it also works on the tek giga but a cryo or creature upload/download is recommended.

@Zichfried There is no config as this mod is basically discontinued now as i focus more on my other mod that this has become part of but does let you config the breeding settings as well as disable everything else in the mod if you're interested.

@RunicKnight1 Unfortunately that would not work for mods based on buffs, it would need a new modded creature for that as the changes would be removed each time you restart or render the creature and will cause issues with incorrect melee/missing health.

Greetings. I have been looking for a descent Giga mod for a while now. Most of them either heavily nerf them, or give them full wild stats. I was searching for a mod that is more balanced, or at least gives the option to do so. I like the fact that your mods have a number of INI options available, so the player has the choice on how it plays out. What I am trying to ask, is if you would consider making an INI option to only nerf health and melee by 20% instead of 80%, please?

I think this is more in line with most other creatures' vanilla settings. So, I hope you will at least think about it. I do enjoy your mods and the fact that they are not very intrusive by using buffs. Thanks for all your hard work and effort!:steamthumbsup: I look forward to see what else you will do.:steamhappy:

Hey I have a suggestion in making the giga roar useful compared to the vanilla one, making it into a fear roar and if people have rage on possibly increase the damage percent it gains in rage mode more than the vanilla does.

@B-O-I It doesn't exactly need stamina as you can level up stamina better than on a giga, but for boss arena and baby growth speed i do plan to support that in the future but will probably be done as a separate mode.

Any chance we'll be seeing a few of the buffs (Stamina, Growth, and Boss Arena) applied to Carcha once it's in the kit?
