You can buy catnip at any pet store. But be careful with it, too much of the good stuff is bad stuff.

Cat language is pretty simple. It's all about your movements. It's basic cat politeness to make eye contact and quickly break it (that's like I see you but I trust you). Making eye contact and then closing your eyes means "I'm comfortable around you and I trust you". Rubbing cheeks around body means "You're part of my gang cat". Trilling sound means hey or hello. Ears down and flat tail is bad mood. Ears up and tail up is very good mood. Meow means "I want attention", the more intense the more need for attention.

Use catnip and cat language to communicate you want a good time and you're a good mate.

After using catnip and cat language cat should be quite comfortable and show affection. Purr is done everything right, everything else is fail to follow guide!
