Yeah after playing Gunman Chronicles... I might have been wrong about that statement with tanks not working in GoldSource. But here is the thing, TF2: Brotherhod of Arms was being developed by Valve, not 2015 Inc. Now weather if they did actually get it working is up in the air.

Also the TF2 team did experiment with tanks during the development of TF2 back when in was called TF2: brotherhood of arms (before they moved TF2 to source instead of gldsrc)
