This mod adds 50+ new items and much more from Risk of Rain 2, this guide contains detailed descriptions of each item, character, chests or drones.

CHARACTERS
MECHANICS

When playing any of the characters below, some game mechanics are changed to fit the RoR2 gameplay style.

Money System: Every enemy you kill above certain hp drops coins based on their max health. Very low hp enemies drop nothing, low hp enemies drop 1 coin, medium hp enemies drop 2 coins, high hp enemies drop 3 coins. Champions will drop +2 extra coins and bosses drop 5 random coins.

Base coin drop limit is 3 drops per room, meaning you can't get more than 3 coin drops per room no matter how many you kill. (this isn't based on coin amount but rather the kill amount, you can kill 3 high hp enemies and gain 3x3=9 coins) This limit increases by +1 every floor. For example, at stage 6 you gain +5 limit on top of the base 3 meaning you can get 8 coin drops per room.

Item System: When playing these characters, every item except boss, curse, secret and devil/angel items is replaced with ror2 chests. Including shop and treasure room items.

Shop Chests: 50% standard, 30% big, 20% equipment
Treasure Room Chests: 50% big, 40% standard, 10% lunar
Planetarium Chests: 100% legendary

COMMANDO


Tactical Dive: For 0.66 seconds gain 2 speed and invulnerability. Recharges in 8 seconds.

Special: +10% Tears multiplier / +20% Shotspeed multiplier / +0.2 Damage every floor
Hearts: 2 Red hearts
Speed: 0.85
Tears: 3.00
Shotspeed: 1.2
Damage: 2.4

Has better tear upgrades, shotspeed upgrades and gains 0.2 damage every floor. Starts with Tactical Dive pocket item.
CHEST TYPES
Items from this mod can only be obtained through these chests. Every chest has its own spawning chance. Naturally spawning chests at every stage start;
-Standard Chest (100% for the first 2 stages, 40% after)
-Large Chest (40% before stage 6, 50% after)
-Lunar Pod (10%)
-Equipment Chest (10% before stage 6, 0% after)


STANDARD CHEST

Spawns Between: [Basement] - [Sheol / Cathedral]
Contains: [80% Common] - [19% Uncommon] - [1% Legendary]

Costs 12 pennies to open and can spawn on every floor start. If playing with default settings, the first 2 floors will only contain standard chests.


UTILITY CHEST

Spawns Between: [Caves] - [Sheol / Cathedral]
Contains: [100% Common]

Costs 14 pennies to open and can spawn on every floor start after basement. Only spawns common utility category items.


DAMAGE CHEST

Spawns Between: [Caves] - [Sheol / Cathedral]
Contains: [100% Common]

Costs 14 pennies to open and can spawn on every floor start after basement. Only spawns common damage category items.


HEALING CHEST

Spawns Between: [Caves] - [Sheol / Cathedral]
Contains: [100% Common]

Costs 14 pennies to open and can spawn on every floor start after basement. Only spawns common healing category items.


LARGE CHEST

Spawns Between: [Caves] - [Sheol / Cathedral]
Contains: [80% Uncommon] - [20% Legendary]

Costs 20 pennies to open and can spawn on every floor start after basement. Only spawns uncommon or legendary items.


LUNAR POD

Spawns Between: [Caves] - [Sheol / Cathedral]
Contains: [100% Lunar]

Costs 25 pennies to open and can spawn on every floor start after basement. Gives powerful items but every lunar item also has a downside. 5 Lunar pods are guaranteed to spawn in a Lunar Shop.


EQUIPMENT CHEST

Spawns Between: [Caves] - [Depths]
Contains: [100% Equipment]

Costs 15 pennies to open and can spawn after beating basement 2 and won't spawn after depths 2. Gives guaranteed active items.


LEGENDARY CHEST

Spawns In: [Boss Rooms After Basement]
Contains: [100% Legendary]

Costs 30 pennies to open and will only spawn after defeating a boss without taking any damage (only in caves and onward). Gives guaranteed Legendary items.


RUSTY CHEST

Spawns In: [Secret Rooms - Treasure Rooms (When going ascension route)]
Contains: [80% Uncommon] - [20% Legendary]

Only spawns in secret rooms if the player has Rusted Key item. Opening it consumes one Rusted Key.


TIMED CHEST

Spawns In: [Boss Rush Room]
Contains: [Preon Accumulator]

This chest will spawn in Boss Rush rooms and can be opened for free if the game timer is under 20 minutes, otherwise it does nothing. It will always contain the Preon Accumulator item.

COMMON ITEMS [1-10]
SOLDIER'S SYRINGE

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

Gives +0.39 tears up. Each additional item will grant less tears up than the one before it.


TOUGHER TIMES

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

15% chance to block incoming projectile damage. Each additional item will grant less damage resistance chance bonus than the one before it. (10 items = 60% chance, 20 items = 75% chance)


MONSTER TOOTH

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

10% chance to drop half a red heart upon killing an enemy, the heart will quickly disappear . Each additional item will add 5% chance (25% max) and grants additional time before the heart pickup disappears. (4 items = 25% chance)


LENS MAKER'S GLASSES

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

10% chance to fire a tear that does 2x critical damage. Each additional item will add 10% chance. (10 items = 100% chance)


PAUL'S GOAT HOOF

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

+0.14 speed up. Each additional item will add +0.14 speed up.


CROWBAR

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

If the enemy is above 90% HP, tears deal 175% damage. Each additional item adds +25% damage. (2 items = %200 damage, 10 items = %400 damage)


TRI-TIP DAGGER

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

Each tear has 15% chance to apply bleed, bleeding enemies will take damage when moving and leave blood trail behind them which can also apply bleed. Each additional item will grant less chance than the one before it. (10 items = 60% chance)


CAUTIOUS SLUG

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

Moving to a new floor heals for a full red heart. Every stack is +1 heart.


PERSONAL SHIELD GENERATOR

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

Moving to a new floor adds half a soul heart. Every stack is +1/2 soul heart.



MEDKIT

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

Heals half a red heart if you took damage and move to a room with enemies. Each additional item will add potential half a red health of heal and having more copies will have bigger heal amount but lower chance to apply the heal. (2 items = 1 guaranteed heal and 1 extra heal with 50% chance, 3 items = 1 guaranteed heal and 2 extra heal with 33% chance)


COMMON ITEMS [11-20]
GASOLINE

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

When an enemy is killed, other enemies within 80 units will burn for 5 damage. Additional items will increase the area of effect by 40 units but the damage will not change. (4 items = 200 units)


STUN GRENADE

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

Each tear has 5% chance to stun enemies for a moderate time. Each item will add 5% chance to stun. (10 items = 50% chance)


ARMOR-PIERCING ROUNDS

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

Gives +20% damage if a boss is present. Each additional item will give +20% more damage. (5 items = +100% more damage)


BISON STEAK

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

+1 Health up. Additional copies also grant +1 Health up.


RUSTED KEY

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

In secret rooms a rusty chest will spawn. It contains the same items as a large chest and can be opened by spending the Rusted Key on it. Each item means more chests can be opened.


BUNDLE OF FIREWORKS

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

Picking up coins, keys or bombs create fireworks dealing 2x4 total damage to all enemies in the room. Collecting more pickups back to back will stack the damage and all the damage will be dealt over time as the fireworks explode. Each copy of the item adds +4 damage to the fireworks.


TOPAZ BROOCH

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

First kill of the room grants a shield for 1.5 seconds. Every copy adds +1 second to the timer.


REPULSION ARMOR PLATE

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

Enemies below 5 hp cannot deal any damage. Every copy adds +2.5 hp to the treshold (20 hp max)


FOCUS CRYSTAL

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

Enemies near the player take extra 20% damage, there's a circle indicator for the area of effect. Every copy of this item adds +20% to the multiplier.


MOCHA

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

Gives +0.10 speed up and +0.24 tears up. Every copy adds the same amount of speed and tears up.
COMMON ITEMS [21-?]

POWER ELIXIR

Type: Passive
Rarity: Common

Whenever the player is at minimum possible survivable hp, heals +2 red hp and disappears from player's inventory. Unlike items like Old War Stealthkit, this item can trigger in rooms without hostiles present such as curse rooms or arcade rooms. Every stack adds +1 red hp to the healing and all copies are consumed on trigger.
UNCOMMON ITEMS [1-10]
ATG MISSILE MK.1

Type: Passive
Rarity: Uncommon

10% Chance to fire a homing missile which does 4 times player damage to the enemy it hits. Every additional item will add +1 to the multiplier. (7 items = 10 times damage)


WILL O' THE WISP

Type: Passive
Rarity: Uncommon

Killed enemies will explode and deal 8 damage in an area of 60 units. Each additional item adds 20 units to the effect radius, damage doesn't change and the explosion doesn't damage the player. (3 items = 100 units)


LEECHING SEED

Type: Passive
Rarity: Uncommon

Dealing damage to enemies has 2% chance to heal half a red heart once per room. Additional items will add 1% chance (5% max). (4 items = 5% chance)


PREDATORY INSTINCTS

Type: Passive
Rarity: Uncommon

+5% Critical chance. Firing a critical strike tear will cause 2 seconds of temporary tears boost. Additional items add lesser boost to your tears stat. All critical strike chance items are additive.


RED WHIP

Type: Passive
Rarity: Uncommon

If there are no enemies in the room, grants +15% speed multiplier. Each copy of the item grants +15% to the multiplier.


CHRONOBAUBLE

Type: Passive
Rarity: Uncommon

Dealing damage to enemies slows them for a very brief time. Each item will increase the amount of time enemies are slowed. (1 item = 8 ticks, 5 items = 40 ticks)


OLD GUILLOTINE

Type: Passive
Rarity: Uncommon

Champion enemies below 20% health are instantly killed. Each copy of the item increases the treshold, further copies are less effective than the first ones. (5 items = 51% chance, 10 items = 67% chance)


GHOR'S TOME

Type: Passive
Rarity: Uncommon

Killed enemies have 4% chance to drop 1-2 coins. Additional items add 4% chance (12% chance max)


OLD WAR STEALTHKIT

Type: Passive
Rarity: Uncommon

When at minimum HP, become invisible and stun all enemies for 3 seconds. Recharges after every room clear. Every item adds 3 seconds to the stun time. (Works on Lost and T. Lost based on their mantle state)


HARVESTER'S SCYTHE

Type: Passive
Rarity: Uncommon

+5% Critical chance. Firing a critical strike tear has 4% chance to heal half a heart, this only works in rooms with enemies. Additional items add +4% up to a maximum of 12% chance. All critical strike chance items are additive.

UNCOMMON ITEMS [10-?]
FUEL CELL

Type: Passive
Rarity: Uncommon

Using an active item has 10% chance to instantly refill it. Every additional item is +10% and maximum chance is 40%.


DEATH MARK

Type: Passive
Rarity: Uncommon

Enemies with status effect on them have 50% chance to receive additional +50% damage. Having more items will add +50% damage each. (2 items = 100% more damage)


LEGENDARY ITEMS [1-?]
BRILLIANT BEHEMOTH

Type: Passive
Rarity: Legendary

Tears explode on contact with enemies and deal 60% of your damage to nearby enemies. This explosion doesn't hurt the player. Additional items will grant +20% damage to the explosion. (8 items = 2x damage)


57 LEAF CLOVER

Type: Passive
Rarity: Legendary

Increases Luck by +1 and grants 2x Luck multiplier. Additional copies will grant +1 Luck and +0.5 Luck to the multiplier.


ALIEN HEAD

Type: Passive
Rarity: Legendary

Grants x1.25 Tears multiplier. Each copy adds +0.25 to the multiplier. (2 items = 150% tears)


DIO'S BEST FRIEND

Type: Passive
Rarity: Legendary

Revives on death and gives 3 seconds of invincibility. Every copy of the item grants +1 revive, upon revive one copy of the item is removed from the player.


SHATTERING JUSTICE

Type: Passive
Rarity: Legendary

Enemies receive extra damage when they have lower health. For example enemies at 60% health receive 40% more damage, enemies at 1% health receive 99% more damage. Each additional item multiplies the effect. (2 items = +198% damage when enemy is at 1% HP)


CEREMONIAL DAGGER

Type: Passive
Rarity: Legendary

Killing enemies has 33% chance to spawn 4 homing daggers which do 250% of your damage. Each additional item adds +250% damage. (4 items = 1000% damage for each dagger)


WAKE OF VULTURES

Type: Passive
Rarity: Legendary

Killing elites has 40% chance to grant you a temporary power based on the elite enemy's color. The power can be healing, directly obtaining or spawning a pickup, spawning temporary familiars, one room tear effects or manipulating enemies or their projectiles. Every copy adds 20% chance to effect triggering chance. (4 Items = 100% of always stealing powers)

  • Red = Heal 1/2 red hp
  • Yellow = Add +1 charge to active item
  • Green = Create creep where you stand
  • Orange = Gain 1-3 coins
  • Blue = Gain 3 blue flies
  • Black = Gain 1 bomb
  • White = Gain 1 eternal heart
  • Grey = Gain 1 key
  • Transparent/Flickering = 1 room spectral tears
  • Pink = 1 room charming tears
  • Purple = 1 room homing tears
  • Dark Red = Spawn 2x 1/2 hearts where you stand
  • Light Blue = Fire 8 tears in all directions with 1.5x damage
  • Camo = Confuse all enemies for 3 seconds
  • Pulsing Green = Spawn 2 minisaacs
  • Pulsing Grey = All projectiles in the room fall down
  • Fly Protected = Gain Book of Shadows wisp
  • Tiny = Spawn 1 minisaac
  • Giant = 1 room Lump of Coal tears and 1.2x damage multiplier
  • Pulsing Red = Heal 1 red hp
  • Size Pulse = 4-6 blue flies
  • King = Deal 12 damage to all enemies in the room
  • Death = Slow all enemies for 3 seconds
  • Brown = Spawn 1 friendly dip
  • Rainbow = 1 room random tear effect (homing/lump of coal/spectral/charming)
LUNAR ITEMS [1-?]
SHAPED GLASS

Type: Passive
Rarity: Lunar

Grants 2x damage multiplier and adds non-removable 6 broken hearts. Each copy will add another 2x damage multiplier and cut down available heart container space by half until only 1 heart slot is left.


BRITTLE CROWN

Type: Passive
Rarity: Lunar

Dealing damage to enemies has 20% chance to grant you a coin but getting hit will remove 10 coins from your inventory. Copies of the item will multiply the amount gained and lost coins.


TRANSENDENCE

Type: Passive
Rarity: Lunar

Every heart container except one is converted to soul hearts, isaac cannot gain more than 1 heart container. Every 4 rooms it heals half a soul heart. Obtaining more copies of the item will increase the healing amount.


CORPSEBLOOM

Type: Passive
Rarity: Lunar

All half red hearts are converted to full hearts, all hearts are converted to double hearts, all half soul hearts are converted to full soul hearts. The converted hearts will disappear after a short time. Every additional item adds 100 ticks to the time before the heart disappears.


GESTURE OF THE DROWNED

Type: Passive
Rarity: Lunar

Entering a new room for the first time will add 1 charge to the active item. Every time the active item is fully charged it will be used instantly. More copies will increase the charge gained by entering the rooms.


FOCUSED CONVERGENCE

Type: Passive
Rarity: Lunar

Clearing a boss room will spawn a Boss Rush door, if ignored it will continue to spawn until the Boss Rush is cleared and will also prevent any devil room spawns. If you clear the Boss Rush, all copies of this item is removed from the player and on top of getting the Boss Rush items a Lunar item will also spawn. Each additional item adds +1 Lunar item to the Boss Rush clear reward.


DEFIANT GOUGE

Type: Passive
Rarity: Lunar

Entering a shop for the first time will spawn 4 enemies and each one will drop a random coin (penny, double penny or a nickel). Each copy of the item adds 1 more spawn.


SPINEL TONIC

Type: Active (6 Rooms)
Rarity: Lunar

When activated, gives +100% damage, +50% tears and +30% speed for 20 seconds. If not active, -15% damage, -15% tears and -15% speed.

EQUIPMENT ITEMS [1-?]
DISPOSABLE MISSILE LAUNCHER

Type: Active (4 Rooms)
Rarity: Equipment

Fires 12 missiles that do 30 damage each and destroy the terrain, the explosion can hurt the player if close enough.


FOREIGN FRUIT

Type: Active (12 Rooms)
Rarity: Equipment

Heals 50% of your max heart containers if you have at least one.


OCULAR HUD

Type: Active (4 Rooms)
Rarity: Equipment

Grants 100% Critical damage for 8 seconds.


THE BACK-UP

Type: Active (4 Rooms)
Rarity: Equipment

Spawns 4 auto-firing strike drones for 25 seconds.


SUPER MASSIVE LEECH

Type: Active (6 Rooms)
Rarity: Equipment

For 8 seconds any damage you deal to enemies has 20% chance to heal half a red heart.


PREON ACCUMULATOR

Type: Active (12 Rooms)
Rarity: Equipment

Fires a slow moving massive ball of energy that constantly arcs between enemies and deals 600 damage over 4 seconds and explodes in a big area to deal extra 600 more damage. The firing direction and speed is based on the player's movement angle and speed.
BROKEN DRONES
BROKEN GUNNER DRONE

Spawns In: [Shop]
Price: 15 Coins

Costs 15 pennies to fix and stays with the player through floors until its hp is depleted. Does block shots and fires at moderate speed, has medium range and medium damage.


BROKEN INCINERATOR DRONE

Spawns In: [Shop]
Price: 30 Coins

Costs 30 pennies to fix and stays with the player through floors until its hp is depleted. Does block shots and fires at slow speed, has very short range and very high damage.
DRONES
GUNNER DRONE

Type: Normal Tears / Moderate Range / Moderate Firerate
Damage: 3.5 + [0.2 DMG per stage]
Health: 30 [Heals 3 HP per stage]

Auto aims and fires every half a second and deals 3.5 base damage per shot, also blocks enemy projectiles but takes damage. A broken Gunner Drone can randomly spawn in shops and fixing it for 15 coins will grant you a Gunner Drone that has 30 hp. If its hp drops down to 0 it will explode and return to the broken form which can be activated again for 15 coins. Gains +0.2 damage and heals itself for 3 hp per stage.


STRIKE DRONE

Type: Normal Tears / Short Range / High Firerate
Damage: 2.5 + [0.2 DMG per stage]
Health: 5 [Doesn't heal]

Auto aims and fires 4 times every second and deals 2.5 base damage per shot, also blocks enemy projectiles but takes damage. Has a shorter range and can temporarily be spawned through "The Back-Up" item. Gains +0.2 damage per stage.


INCINERATOR DRONE

Type: Flame Burst / Very Short Range / Slow Firerate
Damage: 6x6 + [1x Flame every 2 stages]
Health: 20 [Heals 2 HP per stage]

Moves diagonally and fires 6 flames and deals 6 base damage for every flame shot, can block enemy projectiles but will also take damage. Has a short range but the flames can go through terrain. If the hp goes down to 0 it will break and can be fixed again for 30 coins. Heals for 2 hp every stage and gains 1 more flame every 2 stages, increasing the potential damage by +6.
LUNAR SHOPS
When you enter a super secret room, there is a 25% chance a blue portal will spawn, this portal will take you to the Lunar Shop. Lunar Shops will sell 5 Lunar items and will also let you buy a portal to the next floor, these portals will cost 10 coins and display which floor variant it will take you to. There are 2 portals in every shop and they can be one of every variant of the next floor. (After womb 2, there are no portals in shops)


For example, entering a Lunar Shop in Basement 2 will result in caves variation portals spawning, you can even go to places such as mines, dross, mausoleum and even blue womb via portals in Lunar Shops!
