The Kraken was created to be a factory and decomissioning ship. It serves the Navy by recycling old ships into components for new ships.

(this design was heavily inspired by the Amarr Revelation from EVE)

is it just me, or does it at first look like a painted argentavis by looking at the thumbnail quickly?

May I ask why so many refineries? With that many, I half expected to see a variation with drills on it for mass-scale mining.
