Hello there fellow player! In this Small Guide I will show you how to be a friendly player when playing Unturned! This will mainly help with multiplayer.
Step 1: Do not kill other players.
Killing Others can lower ones reputation by 25 (I am unsure of this however I think it is 25. Please correct me if Im wrong)
The only reasonable time to kill a player is when they are doing mass KOS. Killing that person will Raise ones reputation by 25.
Fun fact: If your map has a Safezone Node with NPCs Completing Quests they give can Raise a players reputation. However if your map does not have a safezone you can heal a player with a healing item and it will Raise your reputation.
(Note: Killing a Playing doing mass KOS may sometimes lower your reputation. The system is kinda confusing)

Step 2: If a player is seen, try and act nice (Or run away)
If you just started on a server or are looting a new place and you see a player, Try and Befriend the player or say that you are friendly (and/or) Ask them to not kill you. Its best to use Area chat for this which can be selected by pressing K.
Most of the time this will not work but sometimes if both of you are new or the other player is friendly they will not kill you. Just be sure to share some of the loot and help them with nearby zombies to gain trust.

Step 3: Trade for items. Not kill.
If you see another player and they have good items instead of killing them ask if you can trade with them. For example: Lets say you meet up with another player at a mechanic shop and you are in need for a blowtorch but when you see one the other player picks it up. Now 2 things could happen here. You can 1: Kill them and take everything + the blowtorch and make them hate you. Or 2: ask if you could trade them for the blowtorch they just picked up. If you have something good on you they might ask for it. but dont just give your weapon. try and give them some other tool in trade, like a saw or carjack. They might even help you with trying to get rid of something in the way of another: like a bunch of zombies blocking a gun shop.

Step 4: Try and stop toxic players.
If a player is being toxic to another player in the chat try and defend the other player. Nobody should get hated on for something (Unless its mass KOS. which can mean many things at the moment) so if you see someone being toxic in the Global chat try to stop them from attacking the other player. they may have done nothing wrong. Like fishing, or making a large farm for everyone in a part of the map.
