I mean my experience with piercing weapons apporves your guide.
Additionaly, I bet there is calculation behaviour, where resistance does not work for leftover after destroyed shield. And maybe as a pro you want to test it to define exactly for the sake of the guide.
But for me all is great as it is, the more quirks the better, and thank you for describing them =)
I am reading your comment again (sorry, i was in a hurry last time. Busy with another Blade guide). I will test the Harpoon myself, since is the next character i need for my guide. I really don't know how it works but if you hit the shield with the combo and it gets destroyed in the process, the target receives the rest of the damage. As example, if you hit a shield that has 3000 resistance with a combo that deals 4000, the target will receive 1000 damage only. As far as i remember, the Harpoon only has a single thrust attack so i think that Orc you mention had a low resistance shield. The Harpoon is one of the last weapons you get for the Amazon so that means that the damage of the combo is high. I am sure that if you hit the great orc body with the Harpoon combo, he would not die with a single hit (assuming he is full hp). It also depends on the level
Things gone fast, but I think it is the leftover from damage taken to destroy his shield, like leftover ignores the resistance.
Most of the enemies has Bleeding resistance. As long it is not +100 you can steal HP from the enemies with the Queen's Sword combo. As example, if an enemy has +80 resistance against bleeding you can steal a little bit of HP but if it has +100 you won't steal HP at all
No, is a late game weapon (two last maps)
Well, most of the bosses (and enemies) hates light, which means once you get Ianna's sword (and obtained the runes for the its combos) it will be super easy to defeat them, specially the last bosses.
