This idea comes from several things.

First of all, I wanted to represent the deer.

Symbol of fire and air, the deer traditionally represents the guide of sunlight. This is an important masculine aspect. The antlers he wears tie him to the symbolism of the tree and renewal. This push of the mind towards the sky symbolizes our animal psychic nature, unconscious, which is raised to consciousness.

Dreaming of a deer: What does that mean?

The dream of a deer attack, is very scary, because it is a sign that you will have to prepare yourself for some trouble in your real life.

To dream of a dead deer, is auspicious, because it is the representation of the disappearance of a haughty enemy. Seeing a deer in a dream announces an advantage that should be taken advantage of immediately. To dream of hunting a deer, is an invitation not to make mistakes in life in reality.

There is a lot of interpretation of the deer.

The fact that the weapon is very very visible and of "secret type", I had no other choice but to use very saturated colors.

So I went in the direction of the black light. (see moodboard), while retaining the Scandinavian mythology with the deer-man god. I added some hypnotic elements which one has the impression that it represents eyes, or black holes.

The dream catcher, symbol of dreams has been modified and adapted. The feathers are replaced by hands (hands wanting to escape). The continuous lines, which are wrong in all directions, also give an African art side (see moodboard).

There are a lot of symbols representing the dream and the nightmare in this creation. It is up to everyone to interpret it as they wish. All creations are made by vectorisation with mouse.
