Swing timing resolved

Swing timing explained !

This is actually the average sum of both your backswing + downswing together.

In swing calibration you set a TOTAL tempo speed. It doesnt matter if you go fast on the backswing and slow on the front swing sa long as you meet the TOTAL AVERAGE SPEED SWING after you complete your swing.

You can go either way slow on the back, fast on the downswing or same on back and front as long as you meet the average that you set in calibration.

I suggest you set a slow swing in calibration as it is easier to correct your swing while in downswing motion (in cas you went too slow or too fast on the backswing)

ENJOY !

I use the program "DragLock" for mouse it works great. just DL it, it will automaticly go to tool bar. to use just hold windows key and the cursers locks in the up/down mode if it locks to sideways, just release windows key and repress. it works great for me. icon will be on desk top, you must open it each time you play golf. GL all hope this helps someone. see y'all on the links

I’ve also noticed that if you swing against the wind your descent will be a tad slower and if you have the wind on your back your descent will be a tad faster

The mouse swing is like the Real Time Swing in Links 2003 with tempo added for realism. IMHO the mouse swing is the best way to play if you like a simulation that is closer to the real golf swing. I'm able to play the PGA tour courses and shoot scores which make me competitive with the actual real life PGA tournaments. Most of the real tour courses are available to play so you can simulate the PGA tour season and see if you make the cut and how many FedEx Cup points and dollars you earn each week.

@swgilbo: No. First, DO NOT use a mouse and keyboard; use a controller. To swing with a mouse, you move the mouse back then, quickly forward. Accuracy is damn-near impossible with a mouse, because you have to shove the mouse forward in a perfectly straight line. I was frustrated with a mouse and quit the game. Then I read here to use a controller. Accuracy improved dramatically. That's what you calibrate. You can also turn-off timing in the Settings menu.
