Boss rush mode is one of three gameplay modes in Aria of Sorrow. In this, Soma must defeat 10 enemies in quick succession as fast as possible. However, there is a caveat in the form of a level 40 cap, meaning regardless of player level in game, anything beyond 40 won't make a stat difference in boss rush mode. Furthermore, the player is limited to six items. These include:





•Meat Strip
•Tasty Meat
•Mind Up
•High Mind Up
•Rotten Meat
•Spoiled Milk

Your equipment is not limited in any regard.

Well, it's optional, but also the most optimal to have this setup:

Claimh Solais
Dracula's Tunic
Chaos Ring
Mega Twister
Sonic Dash
Headhunter

Essentially, you're just going to hold down R1 and cast Mega Twister the whole way through. The trick is to face away from the enemy and cast it, as the axe will hit the enemy right as it's spawning in and enlarging, killing the boss faster. Not only that, the Chaos Ring nullifies any need for Mind Ups so you're free to spam Mega Twister as you please. It might be worth going an all INT build with Death's Sickle, Death's Robe, Satan's Ring, and Stolas as your loadout for maximum magical damage. It's also worth noting though that you could just jump cancel Claimh Solais for the extra damage that Mega Twister can't do due to the level cap. Speed through and slaughter all the bosses to "Claimh" your reward!

So, what are you getting for going through the trouble of this? Well, you can get up to four different rewards depending on your time. They are as follows:
• Less than four minutes: Valmanway - ATK+2
• Between 4-5 minutes: Positron Rifle - ATK+50
• Between 5-6 minutes: Excalibur - ATK+120
• More than 6 minutes: Potion

Note: You have to do an individual run for each reward.

That's all there is to it! Kill the bosses as fast as possible with the equipment mentioned above and you'll be set to unlocking some of the game's final content!
