First, download {LINK REMOVED}this file. This is a savegame that puts you at the start of the level after Forest (the first stealth level) and gives you all of the weapons you can get in Forest, along with plenty of 9mm, .45 ACP, and 7.92mm Mauser ammo for your guns.

Unzip it, then find the file called “rocketman.sav”. Copy it.

Now that you have the save game, it's time to put it where saves are stored.

First, right click on Return to Castle Wolfenstein in Steam and a menu will pop up. Look at the bottom of the menu and you'll find “Properties”. Click on it.

You'll be in another menu with four tabs on top of it. Click on the “local files” tab, and you'll end up here:


Click on “Browse Local Files”. Your computer will send you to the folder containing RtCW's files. It looks like this:


Find the folder called “main” (highlighted in the picture) and click on it. You'll be in another folder, which looks like this:


When you're in “Main”, look for the folder called “Saves”. As usual, click on it. When you've done that, you'll be here:


Okay, now you're in where saved game are stored. Paste the copy of “rocketman.sav” you made earlier.

After doing that, start up the game and go into the menu that has saved games. Look for the save called “rocketman” and open it. You'll end up in the level past the Forest with all of the weapons and ammo you could get in Forest.

You can use this in future playthoughs as well. It's really handy!

The saved game works with both the last official RtCW patch and the unofficial patch.
