Hey guy's, this is just a quick fix i've found that could help some of you out there that cant launch the game at all.

if you cant boot the game, its mostly because your cpu has more than 10 cores from what i've read online. At first i believed it to be bogus but for whatever reasons it worked for me so i figured i'd put it as a guide for you fellas out there.

(Make sure to undo these changes by re-activating all your core affinity whenever you do not plan on playing this game within the affinity menu)

Go to task manager and look for steam32bit and right click it then select go to details.

right click steam.exe , set affinity

then untick every cores except 0 up to 10. (To undo these changes just click the top option to enable all cores again in the affinity menu)

I personally dont understand why this fix works.
Link below is the source i've read, it advises to use only four cores to avoid fps drops however i have been running the game fine on 10. Anything past ten cores crashed the app at startups.

Update: It worked for me when only selecting cores 1 to 9. However there is this weird static/grain when I'm moving in darker areas. Anybody noticed something similar. If so, is there a fix?

Glad it helped D v! have fun and most importantly once you are done playing, dont forget to re activate all the cores in the affinity menu before playing any other games!
