I tried the mod and did not work first, BUT turned out i read it not properly... so the thing is if you get a transition error at the first few levels, you may did something false.
try to do it like me.:
go to \Steam\steamapps\common\Rune Classic\Maps\ directory.(make a copy of this directory, just to be sure)
Now delete _Cut by every single file mentioned, so not just the ones that called same like in the archive.
so no extract only rename the original files,
next step to extract the archive, some files get overwritten other just copied. check
I think its best to start a new game and not loading a savegame.
Like this i have no transition errors, But the game crashes a few times,
so i recommend do do a lot of manual saves because autosave sometimes not works, you can also save with F5.
So the next step I downloaded, this file:
https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/2671-openal-3d-audio-driver-fix-for-rune-classic/
the instuctions are there:
cheers!
For exemple there's the "DeepUnder1Odin.run" map in this zip, but my cut odin level is the "DeepUnder1OdinB.run"
Because of that, I got a transition error because the cut level was deleted.
