THE GUIDE
The first thing you must do is to disable the high resolution textures hidden away in the DLCs. Trust me, you don't need to see every individual ♥♥♥♥ particle on your Spartan's helmet.

1. Open Halo Infinite in your Steam Library

2. Scroll down until you find the DLC section on the right side of the page and click "Manage my DLC"

3. Uncheck the Multiplayer High-Res Textures DLC and wait for Halo to update

With that done, we can now configure the game itself.

4. Open Halo Infinite

5. Go to Settings and then the Video tab

6. It may suck, but lowering the resolution has helped me and several others with performance issues. Set it to about around 85%, if you must, turn it all the way down to 71%

7. Set the minimum FPS to 60 and the maximum at 60 or higher if you want

8. Set everything else to low

9. Test your settings out. If it's still unplayable, wait for 343i to release a performance update or if worst comes to worst, save up for a new GPU or just get a Series X or S. Crypto """"people"""" will make this very hard though.

Have fun.
