See that option called "Use SHMUP-style controls"? Make sure to enable that. Always.

Highly recommended even for normal runs, that option will allow precise movements and is doubly important in the arena.

From the main menu, click the Mods icon.




Then you will be able to select the settings for the arena:
Keep in mind that the above settings are meant to kill most players within 5 minutes, so increase the difficulty or Floor at your own risk.




Once you're in, take a step toward the device above and get ready to fight for your life!

* Most items are picked up automatically, except for weapons and missile launchers.

* Energy will regenerate automatically.

* The timer for the arena won't stop after you die. To reset it, you'll have to exit the arena.

* Money is very, very, very useless. Don't worry about it.

* If you survive for a very long time, something bigger will enter the arena.
