... regarding your points:
- creating terrain is really tricky, but i get your point, i tried several times make map more bumpy but i always have to sacrifice detail when i work with real topo data, I can try experiment more on my next map, like creating rivers and higher small mountains, but I have no real knowledge which mountains make bigger and which not so that is why I don't do it so often and leave it more or less on topo data
- if it feels overcrowded you can still delete cities which u don't want as i recommend playing in sandbox and create your own version of playable map, but I will not change my style of placing cities as i don't want to exclude important cities (what I already cant )
Really impressive!
Surely a thumps up for me, even though Maps of this size hurt my PC.
Overall Map with hughe potencial.
Yet some things I would change.
Its a bit overcrowed aswell as a bit empty.
By which I mean, that there are 200 carefully placed city, but to many for the the avarage PC to handel and far to close to each other, dont even need trains, just set up a Bus or two.
And the Map is quit flat.
Sure there are the Alps, but the rest of Europe is flat, I dont know how good this can be made up with but other than this great work
If it is any good I am going to leave a good review.
But I would at that the Map is 24km x 24km in Size.
The "normal" Lage Map is only 14km x14km that a selling point!
And you have to toggle experimental Maps Sizes in your Games Folder.
Many need to know that beforhand
