Anachronox didn't get the full development time it deserved so in order to get Anachronox to not violently crash or cause game ruining bugs you need to download 3 patches and install them in a specific order. All these patches can be found on MoDDB.

When you load the game up now you can hold down " \ " to speed the game up anywhere at any time but be careful it can get stuck after a battle is finished and you just have to press it again to fix it.



Additionally you can install the widescreen patch, sound fixes and texture enhancements.

The widescreen fix will cause the arcade shooting section to break unless you pick the highest native resolution the game has available pre patch. You'll just have to change it once for that section once you're done you can change it back to widescreen.
