It is imperative that you read the mod description before installing it.

Introduction
This a big mod I have been working for quite some time now, improving it continuously. It focus on a complete overhaul on the industrial production by adding new elements and buildings.

  • 37 New Elements.
  • 1 New Item.
  • 32 New Buildings.
  • 5 New Geysers.
  • New Recipes for existing buildings.
  • Modification in Comets droppings.
  • Modification in Space Asteroid Harvesting materials.
  • Modification in biomes spawning custom elements.
  • Toxic Elements, Sulfuric and Nitric Acid causes Acid Burns in Duplicants.
  • Metal Refinery and Oil Pump where modified and some recipes are not present anymore.

    EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: For all new buildings that are present in this mod, you MUST conect ALL the pipes, else the building will not work.

    New Elements





























    Buildings































    Critters Patch
    Crushed Rock can be used as Sage Hatch food now.
    Silver Ore and Zinc Ore can be eaten by the Smooth Hatch, yielding their respective metal counterparts.
    Salt if eaten by the Stone Hatch will yield Borax.
    Chloroschist if eaten the Stone Hatch will yield Bleachstone.
    Slag can be used as food for Pokeshell, Oakshell and Sanishell now, 75% mass turned to Nitrate Nodules.
    Slag can be eaten by Sage and Stone Hatch, turning it to Nitrate Nodules.

    Harvestable Asteroid Patch ~ Spaced Out
    Starmap harvestable asteroids will now feature new elements present in this mod. This is only available for Spaced Out dlc and will require a fresh new game.

    Biomes with New Elements
    Base game biomes and Space Out Biomes will spawn custom elements present in this mod. It is of note that this will require a fresh new game. If this spawning method is undesirable or is causing issues with other mods, user can delete the following two folders from the mod folder: [dlc] and [worldgen].

    Additional Information
  • Meteor Ore can only be obtained either by harvesting asteroids in the Starmap, or by Meteor Showers, either Vanilla Meteor Showers or Regolith Moon Meteor Showers will spawn them.
  • Regolith art was modified to a new model.
  • Yellocake art and texture was modified to a new style.
  • Buildings with multiple elements converters or stages like Crude Oil Refinery, Raw Gas Refinery, Carbon Dioxide Recycler, Thermal Desalinator, can operate with each conversion separate from the other or both at the same time. You don't need to provide elements for all convertion, but only for the convertion you want the building to do.

    If you are experiencing crashes, before posting any comments, confirm this check list:
  • Check if the mod version presented here in the description match the mod version in the game.

Don't worry about that, I have reworked all recipes to a more cleaner and direct way that not only fixed the out of reach crash but also made the mod most faster to load. There will be a lot of direct changes, like plasteel properly set so every building that uses steel will use it too, and the compatibility with Biochemistry mod to use biomass in the syngas refinery and the soil mixer. I will try to release it tomorrow because I need to fully test all recipes and buildings.

Just double checked: the crash indeed happens only without Spaced Out enabled. The Soil Mixer appears to work just fine in Spaced Out - first recipe appeared once I dug out dirt, and building didn't crash even without recipes (once plugged in).

Vanilla crashes regardless of available resources. Tested with Chemical Processing being the only enabled mod, ofc.

@Vectrobe: This was indeed with dirt, fertiliser (...) already obtained - but without sulfur. I did just spawn a sulfur tile via debug mode, dug it out to unlock it and tried building the mixer again: still no dice. I have Spaced Out available, just not enabled. I don't have the new DLC at all, if it matters.

I'll try out some different configs/setups of the game - apparently if it works fine for others, it's some conflict on my end/setup.

I have both DLC's and the soil mixer seems to be normal, but I also already had obtained some dirt, fertiliser, phosphorite and so on, which would have unlocked all the recipes, so I could see a crash being related to the recipe unlocks, or otherwise if this is without the spaced DLC its possible that something is going wrong with the sulfur requirement? even though sulfur exists and is easily obtained in vanilla its not used otherwise

I am curious how you tackle the temperature issue within your code. Also, what caused the sulphur crashes?

Thanks for your work and effort!

Since you mentioned fixes: I didn't find an issue tracker etc., so apologies if this already known.

Otherwise: the Soil Mixer does not show any recipes for me. The building can be built just fine, until you plug it in to power and I/O - ie. it becomes "functional" - at which point the game crashes on an index out of bounds (ComplexFabricator sim & render tick). Instinct tells me this is strictly related to the lack of recipes available. Vanilla, mod at 2.6.1.

I have solved the issue with the temperature outputs if the element used is very cold or very hot, it no longer apply to the outputs. This and other issues are going to be fixed in the update.

I finished the Biochemistry mod I was working on, so now my attention will turn here. I will do a structural check and proper relocation of recipes, and of course, provide a solution for the temperature fabricator which I have an idea how to solve. Also I believe the Sulfur element is not causing the game to crash anymore I think.

Uh there's little explanation on the side outputs of some buildings, say for example the Selective Arc-furnace outputs polluted oxygen, I would expect no output or CO2, and maybe have the output piped as well...

Yeah I can attempt to describe the situation. I can also hand you my save file should that be required. So, when I save the game (be it a manual save or auto save) the game will crash and give me the error I provided.
