DSV Melvin (modless)

Deep Submersible Vessel Melvin is a homage to numerous deep sea exploratory vessels out there. The build itself is modless but it does pretty much need the water mod to be of any use.

Built to work with vanilla settings in the Water Mod, Melvin comes loaded with tools for the job of deep sea exploration.

Features:
Easy to use depth control & Balancing ballast system.
Manipulator arm and a cutting gun
Work basket
Ore detector, cameras, sensor, sound (to be used as desired, couldn't think of a use but included them anyway)
Active searchlight array and spotlights
Battery capability for days.

Note: The ballast system is slow to react, especially during first dive it can take tens of seconds before the vessel begins to dive. This makes the sub slow to dive/ascend, but also makes depth control much easier. Use the adjuster tanks to maintain level nose by turning on the stockpile of either rear or bow until the craft is level again as the center of mass changes slightly the deeper you go. Maintaining level keeps you from accumulating drift but is not something you must constantly monitor.

Tested to 1km at which diving speed gets reduced to .4 meters per second. Could go deeper still if you have the time.
