This guide aims to help you unlock all 31 achievements. It will be divided in 4 sections : General strategy, Campaign Achievements, Names Achievements and Misc. Achievements.

General strategy

I'd advise you to start the game directly in expedited mode. The expedited mode allows 5 seconds to prepare your next action, I though it would be too little time but really, it's more than enough. This way, you'll be able to unlock the "Campaign Achievements" (see section) at the end of each level. You'll also unlock some of the "Misc. Achievements" on the road. You'll be able to reload a level if you want to do it again, so no missable achievements here :)

After doing this, play in Normal mode to unlock the "Names" Achievements. These achievements will be the REAL DEAL because this game has lots of randomness in its mechanics (types of enemies, hit chance etc) and this is "only" where the difficulty will be since you'll have to finish the level under a certain amount of time, with a minimum general accuracy, using a certain amount of weapons and without using bandages in order to unlock the Baba Yaga name in each level. This may seem like a downer BUT if you're not satisfied with your run you can hit Esc -> Restart, this way you'll be able to restart the current section and not the whole level. This is what I did when I noticed I lost too much health, or most enemies had guns etc or even when I thought I had put too much time. Note : there is no way to see you current stats (accuracy, time, number of weapons used, which is a shame).

Some tips :
Use walls/crates/pillars for cover.
Don't be afraid to use melee.
Change stance (crouch) in some situations.
Hit Refocus when you can, this can be a lifesaver !
Press Esc->Restart if you're not satisfied with your run in the current stage.

Campaign Achievements

Edgar Was Alone Complete Chinatown.

Self-explanatory. See "General Strategy" (tldr : start directly in Expedited mode to save you some time).

Quick Start Complete Chinatown in expedited mode.

This achievement will unlock after completing the level in Expedited mode.

Last Orders Complete Elysium.

Self-explanatory. See "General Strategy" (tldr : start directly in Expedited mode to save you some time).

Something with a Beat Complete Elysium in expedited mode.

This achievement will unlock after completing the level in Expedited mode.

Civil War Complete the Harbor.

Self-explanatory. See "General Strategy" (tldr : start directly in Expedited mode to save you some time).

A Contender Complete the Harbor in expedited mode.

This achievement will unlock after completing the level in Expedited mode.

Pop Art Complete the Gallery.

Self-explanatory. See "General Strategy" (tldr : start directly in Expedited mode to save you some time).

One Hit Wonder Complete the Gallery in expedited mode.

This achievement will unlock after completing the level in Expedited mode.

A Withdrawl Complete the Bank.

Self-explanatory. See "General Strategy" (tldr : start directly in Expedited mode to save you some time).

Fast Deposit Complete the Bank in expedited mode.

This achievement will unlock after completing the level in Expedited mode.

Iced Complete the Alps.

Self-explanatory. See "General Strategy" (tldr : start directly in Expedited mode to save you some time).

Blizzard Complete the Alps in expedited mode.

This achievement will unlock after completing the level in Expedited mode.

Birthright Complete the Lair.

Self-explanatory. See "General Strategy" (tldr : start directly in Expedited mode to save you some time).

Just in Time Complete the Lair in expedited mode.

This achievement will unlock after completing the level in Expedited mode.

Names Achievements

Near Miss Earn the Koschei name in any location.

You need to complete a level without using bandages.

Directed Anger Earn the Letun name in any location.

The "Letun" name is earned by completing any chapter faster than the par time. There isn't a way to view your time on the stage until the ending results screen. See the Baba Yaga achievements below to see the par time for each level.

Guns. Lots of Guns Earn the Zmei Gorynych name in any location.

You'll have to use a minimum amount of guns to earn this achievement. See the Baba Yaga achievements below to see the minimum number of weapons to use for each level.

Sharp Shooter Earn the Alyosha Popovich name in any location.

You'll need to be above a certain percentage of accuracy on a level to earn this achievement. If you think you've missed too much, you can press Esc->Restart and you'll restart the last section of the level. See the Baba Yaga achievements below to see the minimum accuracy for each level.

Rumors Abound Earn the Baba Yaga name in Chinatown.

The Devil's Dance Earn the Baba Yaga name in Elysium.

Watery Graves Earn the Baba Yaga name in the Harbor.

Legendary Earn the Baba Yaga name in Lair.

Misc. Achievements

Clipped Kill someone by throwing a gun at them.

The Throwing attack does 1 damage, this one can easily be done by using Strike (2 DMG) then throwing your gun.

Survivor Complete a location with under four bars of health remaining.

You just need to finish a section of a level with less than four bars of health, can be easily done in the first section of Chinatown.

Change of Heart Kill someone using two or more guns.

I did this one in the first part of the level "Chinatown", in the alley with the two spawning enemies. I shot the enemy on the right once with my gun, killed the one on the left, took his gun, then shot the one on the right with the gun I just picked up. You'll have to be "lucky" enough to hit him once and miss him with your second shot, if your "Shoot" hits him twice he's dead. If so, press Esc->Restart.

87eleven Use a takedown, a strike and a push on the same enemy.

I did this on Edgar in Chinatown when I entered the room I threw him my gun, ran towards him then used Strike, Push and Takedown.

Wasteful Reload a gun which is only missing one round.

I did this at the start of Chinatown. I got close to the first enemy, used Strike on him (-2HP) then used Shoot, it only consummed 1 ammo. Then I clicked on reload.

Excommunicado Begin a new game at 6pm.

I tried to unlock the achievement by modifying Windows time but it didn't work, so I waited 18:00 precisely (my local time) and it unlocked by clicking on New Game -> Operator.
