Vanilla Beach Highlands

Description
Vanilla Beach Highlands is a creative map design and not based on a real world location, though it does contain portions of real terrain topology data. Map design is based on coastal cliffs with mesas connected by bridges.
Feedback is always appreciated. Leave a comment with your thoughts.

Features:
* Optimized for 81 tile gameplay
* Large dam producing about 700MW of power.
* Gently sloped highways and rails.
* Unique mountain roads connect the beach areas to the highlands.
* Common interchange types: trumpet, and cloverleaf.
* Two unique and efficient interchange design types
(Maybe the 1st of their kind? Who knows...)
* Start square includes a Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI).
* Max road, rail, ship, and plane connections.

As far I know, all assets in the map are vanilla. Let me know if you have any issues.

soil in the canals will disappear after you unlock the tiles

Excellent map but for a few issues which you may be able to fix: Traffic control options (lights, stop and yield signs) at the crossing points of the diverging diamond do not work. Street lights from the default road on the dam come through the six lane on top. And, as may have been already mentioned, the canals are full of soil not water.

Great map, thanks for taking the time to make it. The starting tile intersection is a miss though and doesn't scale well with traffic. It has two sections where traffic has to cross each other for no reason. Not sure how this was not obvious during map creation that traffic will get stuck there. Suggest to change for v2 of this map should you release one.

Saw it yesterday on BonBonB's YT channel. He gave it 13/15 stars. The very minor quibbles he made are easily fixed with a quick touch with a mod or 2 and maybe a tiny bit of terraforming to help the water in a spot. The networks are superb and you've done excellent work with the trees and beaches. In my collection now. Thumbs up! :steamthumbsup:

Could of been a 5* map but just fell short - map reviewed today by BonBonB on YT. Great Map well done
