Dadzios Playable Species (Automaton, Vine people, Maskhulks)

Description
Adds three existing NPC races as playable races; Automatons, Vinekind and Maskhulks.

All three are selectable as the starting character and can be found at certain ports in the game.

Automaton
An incredibly complicated volskarn device that has become self aware and chosen to interact with living creatures for it's own mysterious purposes.
+10 Max HP, +1 PhysAtk, +2 PhysDef, +1 MagDef, -1 MagAtk, +2 Time to Act
Immune to most status effects
-10% accuracy
-15% Experience gained
Takes 20% extra damage from water and electricty;

Vinekind
This person-shaped bundle of vines seems unusally alert for it's kind. Perhaps it's been separated from it's own people for too long and has had to adapt.
-3 Max HP, HP Regen (75% of normal regen effect) , +1 Life skill
-50% Poison damage
Immune to Itchy, Blind
-15% Experience gained; 20% Fire weakness

Maskhulk;
Maskheads are large humanoids with waxy purple skin & a discolored wood-like mask with a broad eyehole. They are almost universally hostile and do not speak. Despite this they are cunning fighters. Especially large variants like this one, often called Maskhulks are fearsome adversaries, though slow to learn and easily surprised.
+10 Max HP, +2 PhysAtk, +1 PhysDef, -1 MagAtk, -1 MagDef
No accuracy penalty for fighting in the dark
takes 20% extra damage from back attacks
-10% Experience gained;

Two-Headed Maskhulk (not available as player character)
Maskheads are large humanoids with waxy purple skin & a discolored wood-like mask with a broad eyehole. They are almost universally hostile and do not speak. Despite this they are cunning fighters. Two-headed Maskhulks like this one are a rarity and make especially fierce warriors, using their two heads to overcome their natural disadvantages.
+12 Max HP, +2 PhysAtk, +1 PhysDef, -1 MagDef
No accuracy penalty for fighting in the dark
takes 10% less damage from back attacks
+5% Experience gained

Crew can be recruited at:

Automaton - Gonhaldr
Vineman - Trabenton, Ahlvarza
Maskhulk, Two-Headed Maskhulk - Dolor, Ralkholme, Eyrerock


*ISSUES*
- regeneration does not work for Vinekind starter characters but does work for hired crew
- automaton accuracy debuff does not apply for starter characters but does work for hired crew

no worries! I really do appreciate this mod as ive used it to create more of my crew (though i had to use build mode as the rarity of these specific races is very rare, even in the cities they spawn)

Hello *Franzie*, apologies for not seeing this sooner. I don't think any of the updates should have changed anything, but I haven't touched this in a few years. I'll take a look and see if I can confirm and fix, but it might be a day or two.

Hey sorry for posting here but i've been to the mentioned ports multiple times but i've not seen any of your races spawn. I wasn't sure if its because this hasn't been updated in a while

Mine use unique id tags so they should create a separate instance from any other mods. as long as they didn't use my profile name in their IDs... which would be odd. :)

On a side note, is the Automaton provided here the same as Archmagexemnos's https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2408016213 ?

Or will they both be considered as two different races if I subscribe to yours and Archmagexemnos's?
