HMLS Warrior

Here's the third post of the third round of Avem Empire airships! I'll be doubling my fleet size in this update, so make sure to check out all the other designs.

Warrior is based on very old historical ship designs, namely those of the early steam and steel period, and especially ships like the ill-fated HMS Captain. Warrior features two twin 300mm APS, mounted fore and aft between the gasbag and the main deck. She has some casemates and deck guns, for extra firepower, plus a strong central CRAM battery featuring four barrels per side. The main guns are kinetic and the CRAMs are high explosive. The main gun layout is a design I've wanted to build for a little while now, and I'm really happy with the hull shape I managed to get.

Warrior is also the first (and currently only) airship to feature life boats! Some people have been wondering about them, and I thought they'd make a nice addition to this design. They're nice to have as a decoration, but the crew don't necessarily need them. They'd have parachutes, and besides, the eagle insignia on my flag and emblem aren't just symbolic...

Like the rest of the fleet, Warrior has a cruising speed of 40m/s and a max speed in excess of 50m/s.

I hope you enjoy playing with her! She should be reasonably capable and is quite cheap for falling under the classification of a battleship, albeit an extraordinarily outdated one. Let me know what you think of the older design style, too. I've got a few older-style designs I've got ideas for, and some modern ones too. I like to know what people think, so feel free to leave a comment.

Also keep in mind that the colors and reflections and overall appearance of my airships will vary significantly based on your graphics settings, so feel free to mess with your settings and the paint colors until you get them to look how you like.
