Welcome!
Welcome to Incremental Cubes!

This game is best played on a second monitor or while playing Oldschool Runescape (Shoutout to my bois).

Incremental Cubes is a game about getting alot of cubes, in increments if you will.

There are a few mechanics that you should know about, and we will be explaining here shortly.
Getting Started
For starters press that Attack button 10 times as your cube takes its rightful spot on the screen to unlock the next area. This will give you a few skill points for later and allow you to proceed to the next area.

Press the Next button to proceed and turn your attention to the Tick Speed button. If you have already used this, great, but if not here is the info: this allows you to generate cubes faster! Go ahead and upgrade your white cubes after gathering some using the Collect button.

From here you can upgrade your White Cube Tick Speed to 0.1 seconds (10 cubes a second) and/or point your attention to Blue Cubes.

These bad boys are great, as they apply a multiplicative bonus as your cubes generate (good thing to note as all the colour cubes you get do as well). These will allow you to grow much faster.

Start to focus on progressing to later phases for a little bit upgrading tick speed as you go.
Prestige Tier 1
One of your main focuses early on should be on maximizing your prestiges. The skill prestige tree (best viewed in 2D mode, tho the 3D mode is great devs!) works so that you can unlock any pips that are touching one you have unlocked (the lines connect them). You select the pips and press the prestige button to prestige. You wont reset until you press that butto.

Getting Tier 1 complete is a VITAL step in progression.

Your first two prestige points need to go to Auto Collect and Auto Attack respectively. These are vital to the idle playstyle this game promotes and really helps with grinding.

The full Tier 1 tree consists of 136 skills points and it is imperitive that you grind that out as you will get bonuses and the final tier for the Power Cubes system. This gives you unlockable upgrades based off of the generated cubes for each prestige you make.
More Info On Prestige (Info currently via Primalmoon)
This is accurate as of 12/7/2021. If it changes I will edit it and post that under this.

I would like to thank @Primalmoon for their contributions to this segment.

Other Prestige tips:
  1. Not as vital, but you can reselect your prestige skills at any time by going into the menu, unselecting the ones you didn't like. You will be completely refunded your skill points, and can use those for purchasing different abilities.
  2. I'm not sure if it is intentional or a bug, but at least at the moment there is no requirement that all of your prestige skills be connected together. If there is a particular ability you want and you can afford to build a chain to it but don't like the abilities you had to select to get to it... Go ahead and build the chain, select the ability you want, and then deselect the intermediate nodes.

You can use this to skip to good prestige pips and skip the less useful ones. Thanks again for the share Primalmoon!
Clearing Phase 10 the First Time
So when you clear Phase 10 for the first time, you unlock Challenges. Challenges are the easy way to earn bulk skill points. They are also accompanied (most of the time) with setbacks to make the challenge, well, a challenge. The challenges currently are lined out as follows:

Currently as it stands, Just Kill is only good to clear before getting too far into the game, or after undoing all of your skills and doing insane microing.

Robot Challenge is good for points farming. 100k per clear is great. I have a guide detailing a setup for it. Only good after getting magician though.

Titanium Cube is good to do. Worth the timesink.
Challenge Farming Post Tier 2 Prestige Tree
"This section is largely subjective and based off of my experience playing the game. I may be wrong and would be glad to get the feedback in the comments. Thanks for reading and I hope this helps!" - Phrog-man himself.

By and large, the best way to grind for skill points is farming the Robot Challenge. It supplies 100k points and is the fastest way to get through tiers 3 and 4 in quick order.

This requires a few things to make it work, and i would leave the game on to achieve these two points before grinding using this method:

Samurai Helper level 200-250.
Magician Helper level 200.
Max Damage so far = at least 10 Qi.

The steps of the grind are as follows.

1. Start the Challenge
2. Equip Magician Helper
3. AFK farm up to 1 Billion cubes.
4. Upgrade Samurai 1 time. Equip Samurai.
5. AFK until Phase 10 is complete.
6. Spec your points
7. Repeat steps 1-6 as many times as you want.

This is the most time efficient method as far as I can tell.

What do you do to get around the 50 limit for the challenges though? Personally, I'm stuck at the last upgrade of tier 5 and even if i sell the rest of the tiers I'm only up to ~740k skill points and there's no way for me to do the no more cubes challenge.

If you can't see the attack button, it might be off your screen because this game doesn't handle resolution correctly. See this thread for more details on that: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/1690730/discussions/0/3183486320474285889/

The just kill challenge is really hard if not impossible to do as intended. Now that you can control your tickers more precisely after you've bought upgrades it might be doable... But still annoying.

However, if you have a samurai that can do more than the level's HP * 2^53, the game glitches out. The remaining HP will be set to the amount of damage your Samurai did. And then the next swing of the Samurai will do the same amount of damage, perfectly clearing the level. For phase 10 you need to do something like 1.3 Ud for this to work, but there are ways around that.

how does anyone finish the "Just Kill" achievement?
Samy 16 Jan, 2022 @ 8:10am
yea ive just found out what that convert button does lol. when do you unlock the second robot? start of tier 3?
Elite Battle Panda 15 Jan, 2022 @ 2:49pm
Samy, it's taking me a long time too. my best advice is prestige until you get the second robot then on your next run, don't spend any power of cube points (except maybe white) and just let them fill up the PoC bars for a long time, then when you get orange to level 15, buy max of every PoC upgrade and then convert everything to red and get to level 1 or 2 with that, and then convert to gold to buy that bonus. that should get you to like 500k multiplier or higher

how long did it take you guys to beat phase 10? i'm 35 hours in and only just getting to a point where i feel like i can afk for a decent amount of time to kill it. highest damage so far (which is this run) is 19.8Qa, feels really slow compared to the other phases. almost got prestige tier 2 complete, just missing the green cube chances and mini booster at the end, i don't think they're worth enough to restart again... am i doing something wrong or did you guys just leave the game ages to unlock the challenges? a review said they beat it in 6 hours which doesn't seem right
