Punitive Strike

This mission was inspired by the 1986 punitive airstrikes against Libya for the bombing of a club in Berlin. US Navy SEAL snipers infiltrated the country and were designating targets for airstrikes.

You are the lead of a 2-man sniper team. Your mission is to covertly infiltrate the small island country of Malden and direct punitive strikes against the countries military HQ. You have a Greyhawk drone with GBU's, as well as cruise missiles and artillery from a waiting warship.

This involves a long insert on foot. This is part of the misison to test your stealth and stalking skills. Some may not like a long insert such as this, but maintaining stealth is part of the scenario. (I will upload a shortened version, but I highly recommend trying this and testing your patience and stealth insert skills.)

There are no set waypoints to follow. Follow the briefing and decide your own route, and choose from where you want to target the strike. This makes for repeated playability and potential different outcomes each time.

12-9-21: Added action commands "COVER!" and "Clear". "COVER!" will cause spotter to stop and go prone. "Clear" will cause him to kneel and regroup. These are done silently so no voice or radio transmission will be heard. Should you give him stance commands in the normal way, this script will stop working.

12-9-21: You start out with the RCO on your primary weapon for close in self defense while inserting. The thermal weapon sight for long distance is in your inventory.
