Hi!
I wanted to create a mod to have Auto Adventure unlocked from the very start of the game, as I feel like the option is given to you way too late into the story.
I also read about people wanting a no wages option, so I included a mod for that as well!

The ZIP file contains an Auto Adventure mod (which also comes with the convenience of not having to enter the konami code every time you launch the game), a No Wages mod (for both crafters and adventurers) and a file with both of the mods combined.

How to Install
  • First thing first, download the mod ZIP file here[drive.google.com]

  • Then locate your game installation folder. The easiest way to do this is to right click on Weapon Shop Fantasy in your Steam Library > Properties > Local Files > Browse
    The default directory is Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/WeaponShopFantasy

  • From here, you want to locate the "Assembly-CSharp.dll" file. It should be under WeaponShopFantasy_Data > Managed

  • Replace it with the desired mod file in the ZIP folders and you're good to go!

The condition is tied to the dragon slayer achievement, if the achievement is unlocked, the Konami code will enable auto adventure mode. So it's not tied to game version, or fully completing the story. Just the achievement. Got curious after reading Turbo Rob's comment, so I loaded up DnSpy and went though the code to see what the requirements were. Hope that answers some questions. (Also just thought it would be fun to do the mod myself rather than reuse someone else's work, so it was also just for funsies)

I'm not sure what other conditions need to happen, but as of the current version of the game I did not need to beat the story portion of the game or download any files. You can literally enter the Konami code ( up up down down left right left right b a b a ) on your keyboard while in game, and the auto adventure option will appear. Do note you need to do this every time you open the game after exiting out of it. And especially in the start of the game, be mindful of the salary cost of your adventures.

Update: it appears that my cloud save was corrupted somehow. Playing off of local files the game ran fine and achievements unlocked as normal. Thank you for the mod!

That's strange. I just tried it again with a different save. Got 999 all stats and got the in game achievement but not the steam achievement. I even made sure it sync'd to the steam cloud. Maybe I'll try it without using a file tied to the steam cloud.

They worked for me and I can't think of any reason why they shouldn't, let me know if you're having trouble unlocking them

I just wanted to say that I downloaded this mod and it worked perfectly! I'm really impressed with the work and it definitely made my gaming experience much better. Thanks for creating such an awesome mod!:nekoheart:
