Note: Requires 'Mod Options' mod from nexus - https://www.nexusmods.com/mechwarrior5mercenaries/mods/537

Replaces airstrike explosions with orbital drop of allied defenders.

Default Drop Fees:
* Light Tank = 10k x drop fees difficulty
* Heavy Tank = 20k x drop fees difficulty
* VTOL = 20k x drop fees difficulty
* Light Mech = 35k x drop fees difficulty
* Medium Mech = 70k x drop fees difficulty
* Heavy Mech = 100k x drop fees difficulty
* Assault Mech = 150k x drop fees difficulty

Default Drop Composition:
* Armored Recon Lance = 4 light tanks
* Armored Assault Lance = 4 heavy tanks
* Armored Company = 4 light tanks, 4 heavy tanks, 4 VTOLs
* Air Squadron = 6 VTOLs
* Air Wing = 18 VTOLs
* Standard Mech Lance = 1 light mech, 1 medium mech, 2 heavy mechs
* Light Mech Lance = 4 light mechs
* Medium Mech Lance = 4 medium mechs
* Heavy Mech Lance = 4 heavy mechs
* Assault Mech Lance = 4 assault mechs
* Steiner Scout Lance = memes
* Urbie Mech Lance = memes
* Standard Mech Lance w/ Air Support = Standard Mech Lance + 2 VTOLs
* Standard Mech Lance w/ Ground Support = Standard Mech Lance + 2 heavy tanks
* Combined-Arms Company = 2 light tanks, 2 heavy tanks, 2 VTOL, 1 light mech, 2 medium mechs, 2 heavy mechs, 1 assault mech
* Standard Mech Company = 4 light mechs, 4 medium mechs, 2 heavy mechs, 2 assault mechs
* Assault Mech Company = 12 assault mechs
* Urbocalypse = memes
* Single Archer = 1 archer
* Single Scout Mech = 1 light scout mech

Customization Options:
* Select drop composition from drop-down in Mod Options
* Enable 'Unlimited Airstrikes' in Mod Options
* Change drop fees cost modifier in Mod Options
* Completely customize drop composition and spawn pools by editing the json files found in 'Resources' folder
* This mod will also detect 'spawn_pool.json' files found in other mods 'Resources' folders.
* Set a custom paint color for dropped units

As a point of reference, because wasn't obvious, the mod on Nexus is called Orbital Drop Airstrike Replacement rather than VehicleDropAR, for those wanting to download the newer version from there.

Sadly, I cant get the mod to work at all with the latest DLC / patch it keeps crashing on startup where it used to run fine before.

I wish there was a mod allowing you to use full potential of your army. When i have 12 mechs and 12 pilots in garage and can only use 4 at once, it feels a bit unfair. If there was a mod allowing to deploy 4 more of your pilots it would be awesome

Yeah this mod causes a Fatal Error: LowLevelFatalError [File: Unknown] [Line: 3146] Could not find superStruct RecieveBeginPlay to create RecieveBeginPlay
The nexus mod works but the list of units to spawn is different.

I posted a bug on the Nexus mod page, but I will post here:

Turning on/off the Remove Initial Timer does not seem to be working. It always takes 60s before I can perform a drop.

Also, sometimes, the units I have configured to drop doesn't spawn anything. The ODAR.log file shows it finds the selections fine, but nothing spawns.

Also, what is the logic behind when you can actually negotiate for airstrikes? Do you need to be higher standing? Need higher level? I feel like 85% of the missions don't allow for airstrikes, meaning I can't spawn any extra stuff.

I also seem to always get invalid intro date for any drops.

While it doesn't conflict with any other mods, I had it loading after all the mech packs, career starter, pilot overhaul, ect, but before my art mods, vonXYZ mods (biomes, HUD, and Missions), infantry, and stack crates.

I am going to move it to the very bottom. Also going to do some other mod movement to see if I can resolve it.
