The Civilization V multiplayer AI is essentially a dumbed down version of the single player AI. However playing Civilization V with friends can be a lot of fun. Especially in CCOP vs AI style. So how do you create a challenging game? Choose the best multiplayer ai!

are you playing with multiple civs, or just you and him? he gains a free tech for every city he takes, as long as he hasn't discovered the all the technologies that the owner has. so if the ai is playing like he should, he should be able to win a science victory quite easily.

Thanks. Ashurbanipal is in my current test, however so far he is doing rather poorly. I could take him again in the next test.

Ashurbanipal is (or at least should be) a very agressive player and high on the list of science if the ai is indeed aggressive. i'm not sure if you are adding brave new world/gods and kings civs or not, but there you go.

Put Babylon in the trash tier. I have yet to see AI Babylon use their free GS to build an academy.

You should include Civs that do not overreact, Ghandi and America have declared war on me on turn <75 for taking 2 City State's workers. I need a Civ that doesn't do that!

I agree on egypt though, he's so good he cheats. He just knows which wonders I'm buildinng and finishes them first with his ability
