IMPORTANT: Before you read this guide make sure you DO NOT have any mods!
With the first experimental test release of MP we ask for your understanding that we can't provide support for making mods work on your server.

If the most common solutions didn't fix your problem, share your game logs in the commend section so we can check for any errors.
-Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid
-Open the console.txt
-Copy everything from there to https://pastebin.com/
-Click “Create a new paste”
-Share the website link of the new paste here.

If your error looks like this:

media / lua / server / RecordedMedia / ISRecMediaAction.lua

D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid\media\lua\server\Recorded media\IsRecMediaAction.lua[/b]

Delete the 'lua' file, verify local files , restart Steam, join again.

This usually happens if the connection to the server is not fast enough and cannot download all the map files in a certain time.
- Try restarting your router.
- Disabled AV\Firewall programs.
- Keep trying to connect.
- Try lowering the resolution.

- Restart your PC.
- Make sure your connection is stable.
