Sometimes it's pretty annoying if your dinner keeps running away.
There is a way to avoid this problem.


If you build a small fire place right in the open field,
animals keep running thru them.


If you return back in a few minutes it may look like this.




This also work for hostiles... if they run accidently thru it, they'll burn an die.
It's helpful to place several fires near your base because hostiles keep scouting it.
This trap is a alternative for those who're to lazy to collect hundreds of sticks and logs for a quite strong defense

I always had a problem with keeping my fires burning because i ran out of leafs in the night.
One leaf let you fire burn just a few seconds an the fire will return in a dieing phase.

If you hit the E button serveral times (10-15) the fire will return in it's full splendor and keep burning for 5-10 minutes. This also works with those large torches!

When you ran out of leafs keep looking for those trees



They've an infinite amout of them if you hit them and won't get destroy in the process.
It's helpful to build your base near or around one of these trees!
