RAILWAY 2 - Massongex Bridge

Railway 2 is a brand new network package which is packed with numerous new features, while maintaining the existing features of original Railway 1 project. It also brings new types of networks such as quads and mainlines. Check Railway 2 Guide in the collection, linked above.

Massongex Bridge is located in the community of Massongex, located west of St-Maurice, in the region of Valais of Switzerland. 2 track bowstring bridge replaced the older pair of one track bridges built about 100 years ago over the Rhone River. The current bridge is the largest SBB railway bridge in Switzerland.

This is the updated variant of Massongex Bridge released for Railway 1. As it's an old-batch which predates Adaptive Roads, Massongex Bridge has only one wire type, which is European wire standard.

The use of the bridge is simple as it gets. Start dragging the ground variant, then switch to elevated to the riverside, then finish with Bridge elevated for arched segment.

- It is compatible with Euro standard and Euro mainline type networks.
- It is NOT compatible with USA networks, nor it supports any junction on elevated/bridge segments. It is a bridge, use it as a bridge.

• Ground Segment: Mainline ground, 2 track with Swiss Iberian sleeper density.
  
• Elevated Segment: Viaduct variant with wide pillars that resemble to bridge supports.Can use it to expand viaduct portion of the bridge approach.
  
• Bridge Segment: Bow String bridge part.
  
• Part of Railway 2: EURO expansion, that features accurate rail profile, 1:1 scaled wire height and many more features.

Network uses recycled materials from R2 project as well it's recycling its own materials across elevations.


Comes as electrified networks. Use Network Skins to disable wires on-dragging, or Catenary Replacer to cancel wires map-wide. Part of RAILWAY project, thus requires Railway Replacer to customize track props.
