Heart

Description: Adds an additional hit point but lightly weakens your attack power. The Heart charm can be good in Run & Gun levels at the beginning because the minions don't have much life.

Smoke Bomb
- Smoke Bomb
Description: You will not take damage during a dash. A great defense maneuver. The Smoke Bomb allows players to make a run without taking damage, disappearing in a cloud of smoke and reappearing where they would normally go. It is very useful when there are a lot of things to dodge.

P. Sugar
- P. Sugar
Description: The first parry move is automatic — all you need to do is jump. The Parry Sugar charm means that if Cuphead/Mugman jump, then they will automatically parry. This is useful for bosses with parryable items in difficult locations such as Ribby and Croaks and Cagney Carnation. In plane fights, it will extend the parry window to make it easier to parry things with less risk of getting hit.

Coffe
- Coffe
Description: Super meter continuously fills -- in addition to what you earn. It will automatically fill the super meter, without having to parry. It can be a useful way to defeat tough bosses quicker, and is a good replacement for the smoke bomb charm on aerial bosses like Wally Warbles. For every second, the meter fills by 4%, taking 25 seconds to fill one card completely.

Twin Heart
- Twin Heart
Description: Adds two additional hit points but weakens your attack power. The Twin Hearts charm is an upgraded version of the Heart charm. While the damage reduction is greater, the two additional hitpoints are very useful. If one decides not to take Smoke Bomb on a boss, Twin Hearts can be a valuable replacement. On King Dice, the player can get upwards of 8 health with the Twin Hearts charm.

Whetstone
- Whetstone
Description: Your first parry move doubles as a damaging axe attack. Using the whetstone to attack is identical to performing a parry, but it can be used on nearly any enemy or boss. The actual attack can only use once before the player has to land; all subsequent parries act as normal, non-damaging parries. This applies to airplane levels, such as Threatenin' Zeppelin.
