This is just a quick tutorial on showing how to install a reshade preset and going into files to obtain Quad nods

in game file deletion
in order for this to work properly what you need to do first is search in the directory of your GB CTE, should look a little something like this YOURDRIVE:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GROUND BRANCH CTE. Then delete all of these files
PP_NightVision.uasset
PP_NightVision.uexp
PPI_NightVision.uasset
PPI_NightVision.uexp
WBP_NVGOverlay.uasset

BUT before you do that i'd recommend making a backup of these files just in case
How to and where to install reshade
next you'd want to copy the link below and delete the space before and after .com then paste it into your browser,

once installed open up the 7zip/rar file and put it into a directory that should look like this.
YOURDRIVE:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GROUND BRANCH CTE\GroundBranch\Binaries\Win64

There is no need to install reshade along with this, it practically auto installs it with the 7zip.
Possible issues and differences between GPQN and MTRQN
Keep in mind this is supposed to be used with in game Nvg's, and if it ever seems off the 1st problem could be that the shader turned on without the in game nvg's. To fix this just press y to open up text chat and press N to deactivate the reshade.

For some reason that multicolored greyscale blue thing wants to show up, have it set to the normal GP or WP and press home, after that you'll look through the .FX's and see if you find any with an N next to it. If there is right click that .fx left click the box with the n inside of it press backspace and click off.

If you look in that menu you'll say a bar at the top saying either "GPQN" or "MTRQN" the differences between the 2 is that GPQN is more towards gameplay. Not too dark in certain areas so the enemies cant be hiding in dark corners, and not to bright so they cant be hiding in plain sight under street lamp. What MTRQN does is trying to get it as close to real NVG's it will be dark in dark areas because there isn't much light there to magnify, and in bright areas it will be bright because there is a ton of light its magnifying. as well as alot more noise, and maybe a little bit more bloom. Pressing Home will allow you to change presets at the top left there will be a blue box most likely named "MTRQNGREENPHOS" just click that and you'll see all the options

Thanks to a user named dissemblir they've figured out a bug where the laser is super bright and flickers, all you need to do is set post processing to EPIC setting, and if you want to tune it down even more just mess with a couple of the settings in the advanced section. I do not know what these exact settings in advance are myself since i never had this problem.

UPDATES
V1.1:There shouldn't be the weird pressing n twice to get those two color way's of wp and that grey scale, because that wasn't suppose to happen.

V1.2:There is now two phosphorus colors for GPQN and MTRQN named appropriately

V1.3:Changed brightness settings as well as the colorways for the green phosphorus on MTRQN and GPQN

V1.3.5: updated the little line between the main front tubes and the side panoramic tubes so it would be less blurry and doesn't take you out of immersion that much

V1.4: added an "ambient light" fx which helps the source of the light bloom and make scratches appear on the "tubes" on the MTRQN preset's

V1.4.5: got rid of some of the errors since some people are worrying about them, there is 1 though that i cant seem to find. but dont worry it doesn't change anything or break anything

Toasty you can only use this on the CTE version which i believe they got rid of last year so this is no longer usable unless you have the CTE version of the game

NapalmSticks (and mod creator), If CTE is missing from library it could be because of the change to how the dev team is doing their public tests. From now they are going to be releasing steam playtests instead of having a CTE version always available. Seeing as CTE is still in my account i'm going to assume having it installed or having played it before keeps it in the library (could also be slow removing it). you can only use this with CTE because again the main game treats any deleted file as trying to cheat so you cant really use it in the main game

when i try to start a match it says WBP_NVGOverlay.uasset missing unexpectedly and play is not allowed

i dont have the model thats another mod, but the overlay no you cant install it without installing reshade

not that i know of i believe you can only do this in the CTE because the main game treats any deleted file as trying to cheat so you cant really use it in the main game.
