Desk
  • Plug in the lamp on the left (cord and outlet are under the desk). After it turns on, you will notice an airplane on the lamp. Click the lamp to knock the airplane down. Click the airplane to make it fly. It will knock the light bulb out of the ceiling light fixture.

  • Open the drawer of the desk. Clicking on the blue tube inside the drawer will cause a yellow stain on a piece of paper. Click on the stained paper to enlarge. It is a shopping list, and the yellow stain has now become the light bulb. Click on the light bulb to take it, and attach it to the ceiling light fixture. The light switch by the door will now work.
    Sun in the Room achievement

Bookcase
  • Click on the lady in the chair to move her out of the way.

  • First interaction with the books on the bookcase will cue dialogue. The books on each shelf can scroll. Centre the pink books on each shelf to form a heart. Doing so will cause a green book to fall on the floor (near the rug). Open the book to discover some stamps and a letter. Move the straps on the right side of the letter to view more letters below. Cue dialogue and discover a portrait.

  • Left drawer has no interactions.

  • Right drawer has an orange glasses case. Open the case, click on the glasses, and use them on the lady. You will now be able to enlarge the baby name book she is reading. Cue dialogue and discover a portrait and the name Alice

  • Click on the brown envelope in the right drawer to move it over. Underneath it are some ticket stubs. Match similar art like a memory game, they will disappear when you've got it right. Les Temps Enchantes with Entree Museee Plein Tarif (visit 04/02/03). Le Chateau d'Eau with Playground. Phase of Nothingness with "Black" at Stadtische Kunsthalle Dusseldorf. Exhibition "TATE" with Versailles. Musee Soulages with Centre Pompidou. Louvre with Kunst Historisches. Corot 1996 with Auvers-Sur-Oise. Completing this cues dialogue and discovers a portrait.

  • Left cupboard has a repurposed cookie tin which cues some dialogue about disappointment.

  • Right cupboard has a red pouch with coffee beans inside. The coffee beans cue some dialogue and discovers a portrait. Pick up the coffee beans and interact with the French press (on the desk by the lamp you plugged in) to make coffee. Pour the coffee in the cup on the side table. Interactions with No Effect in "Quiet Reading"
These, to my knowledge, do not cue dialogue nor will they discover a portrait or name. Feel free to correct me in the comments if I'm wrong!
  • There are several books/items on each shelf that can be interacted with. You can also line up items on two different shelves to cause an interaction (i.e. the dog statue and cat book).

  • Turning on the ceiling light and desk lamp causes the flowers in the wallpaper to bloom.

  • When the lamp over the couch is on (after the dialogue), you can change the strobe effects and the light colours by clicking the different items on the couch.

  • There is a third picture frame that will flip between two polaroid pictures when interacted with.

  • Clicking on the boots below the coat rack will cause flowers to sprout.

:DetroitAndroid: IMPORTANT NOTE for the CLUMSY achievement :
You need to make one (or more) café drink incorrectly. I had to replay the game 3 times before I figured this out. LOL.

:DetroitAndroid: Also, we need to do the 5 parts during the same playthrough, in any order:
-Break the glasses (scrapbook).
-Edit the woman's photos in the scrapbook.
-Broke the porcelain in the botton left of the scrapbook.
-Make at least one café drink incorrectly.
-Water the plants way too many times in the greenhouse.

Thank you for this guide.
